Yes the panic sell will be interesting too see. I will invest all i have in my account into cheap khs. I think about 600 satoshi per khs or less. But maybe 80% of the members stay at scrypt.cc, because all the ones that didn't trusted him left an first of June. There was a panic sell with prices below 600 satoshi. Happy mining to all!

Actually Fuckhead all it takes to sue someone for slander is saying something that you can't prove.
Using your own logic, If I were to state that scrypt.cc were mining and I could not prove it, that would be slander? Did you actually bother looking up the definitions of Slander and Libel? Here: Libel vs. slander Libel is the use of false, defamatory claims about someone in written or printed form. Slander likewise denotes false statements that damage a person’s reputation, but it is committed orally or in any other transient form. Both words have complex legal definitions and connotations, which we won’t explore here. Legal complications aside, all you need to remember is that libel is written and slander is spoken. Slander is also often used informally as a synonym of defamation. Both words function as both nouns and verbs. http://grammarist.com/usage/libel-slander/Given that at no point has anyone heard cryptodevil say anything, he couldn't possibly have slandered anyone. FTFY It is not possible for Cryptodevil to have slandered/libeled Scrypt.cc. Not by UK law anyways. Nor can anyone slander/libel a group as a whole, or a dead person. Cryptodevil and ThePhwner have, (in my legal opinion), however, libeled several individuals on here with their childish behaviour in name calling because people don't agree with their views. The website could also be liable for allowing these libelious and malicious remarks to be published. A major social media site was recently ordered to pay £200K damages at the high court in Belfast for exactly what's happening here Anyone interested in a class action... count me in

Sometimes I despair at the state of the human race.
I've been in many such threads, trying to help the victims of a scam see that they are victims of a scam. They don't want to hear it. You can show them all the facts you like but at the end of the day it's much easier for them to call you names than to accept the reality of the situation. On top of that, there's the added problem that they need the scam to keep running a little longer so they can get out with a profit, and then there are also the paid shills who will ignore your logic and attack your person. It's kind of an impossible fight to win.

I see what you did there. June 26, 2015 - Today we finished the move to our new server. It took longer then expected due to some difficulties we encountered. We're now running audits on all of the accounts. Once the account's been audited and verified, that account will be able to login. Once all of the accounts have been audited and verified we'll enable trading and withdraws.
This looks like a good development. It gives hope because if they were just scramming with the money then why bother to give messages? It's known as cooling the mark out. If they just came out and said "ha ha suckers all your coin is belong to us" you'd be mad. You'd maybe hunt them down. But instead a stream of "we've been hacked", "we're moving servers", "we'll be back soon", "there's database corruption", "we're fixing it", "..." gives you time to get used to your loss, and gives your anger time to dissipate.

That is a fascinating link, thanks. I'd mentioned this tactic was likely the reason for scrypt.cc to continue communicating with their marks but I was unaware it was a studied sociopsychological process.

You can use your strong analytic brain and look to history of the project. And cryptodevil, you act here like obsessed by scrypt , try to be offline a bit, its healthy.. peace

I'd mentioned this tactic was likely the reason for scrypt.cc to continue communicating with their marks but I was unaware it was a studied sociopsychological process. Apparently these days the practice is used more by colleges [wikipedia], "to encourage the students to adjust their expectations or redefine failure". if scam or not, you will be very sad, because scrypt.cc will go back online. You can use your strong analytic brain and look to history of the project.
I won't be sad if they go back online. I'm not invested in any way in the success or failure of their project. It looks scammy, appears not to take any steps to look less scammy, and so is probably a scam. It's sad if people lose their money to scams, but it's going to happen. People are greedy and stupid and don't want to listen to warnings. That's just how it is.

What does that have to do with Bitcoin? Exactly, nothing.
And the fact that it is on the Internet, makes absolutely no difference. Insult is an insult. Defamation is damage to reputation.
Berate someone an idiot can easily cost € 3,000 or more. To think you would be safe behind your monitor, is at best naive. In the worst case, a few months in prison.
It would be foolish to underestimate that.

Is there any such magical coin, I can mine, that can produce the income that Scrypt.CC gives? I cannot. Even some of the better scrypt multipools cannot match the return. This throws up a red flag for me.
