so, let's just say scrypt.cc is a ponzi (which I am dubious about at best)....

Why would these obviously quite clever "scammers" make up such a bullshit stupid lie claiming they had 850ghash of scrypt asics when it is pretty obvious that to have 850ghash of scrypt asics is quite unlikey given the overall network hashrate of scrypt coins?

Why on earth would they say that?  WOuldnt they just say they had 250ghash or similar?

You see, that doesnt make sense to me.  I dont believe the site is a ponzi, yet 850gash seems excessive.  So, maybe they are not telling us everything, maybe they are keeping their cards close to their chest?

Personally, I dont give a shit.  You ponzi fuktards can play with each others ass all day long making yourselves feel better by thinking you've done the world some sort of justice.

I dont think they're a ponzi, I am happy with their service and I will continue to hold funds in their site while it's earning me a nice roi.

Can someone please help me get unbanned from the Freenode IRC?
When I try to join #scrypt.cc, it says:

474 Cannot join channel (+b) - you are banned

I don't know why, but I understand that the IRC is working.

I have tried from many IPs. Right now my IP is 47.18.116.203

My IRC a user name is BTKC.

I am wondering if it has anything to do with the fact that I registered in Greece and users there and now am in NJ...

Any ideas?

Whoever is an IRC mod or can talk to one, my current IP is 107.188.1.235 and should remain so (unless the router resets it) until further notice.
I will leave my PC on and connected to freenode overnight...
Thanks

Are you posting from multiple accounts? The anger in the 5th paragraph seems so similar to that of many other victims here. Why are you so mad when people point out facts to you? If I was invested in a scam and someone pointed it out to me while there was maybe still a chance of getting some of my coins out I'm sure I would be grateful, and probably wouldn't call them "fuktard" or accuse them of engaging in ass play.

@ilic

Let's just take a look at how your post, which claims to be asking a genuine question, rapidly serves as evidence of its own answer
so, let's just say scrypt.cc is a ponzi (which I am dubious about at best)....

What possible justification do you have to continue to refuse to accept the evidence that is staring you in the face? Evidence you can check the origin of yourself?

Why would these obviously quite clever "scammers" make up such a bullshit stupid lie claiming they had 850ghash of scrypt asics when it is pretty obvious that to have 850ghash of scrypt asics is quite unlikey given the overall network hashrate of scrypt coins?

Because you, like all their other 'investors' are intellectually dishonest and will rage against facts you dislike being posted. They know you'd never check the reality of their claims. They were right and they continue to be right, you truly are so incredibly dumb you actually exist in a state of delusion whereby you believe that raging against those who repeatedly show proof and reasoned explanation as to how you are being duped by these criminals, will somehow magically make the facts not be true and, instead, your personal fantasy involving any number of excuses as to why and how you are going to reap the financial rewards of your clever 'investment', is going to over-ride reality. All you need to do is to keep attacking anybody who doesn't align themselves with your delusion.

It's like a religion to you. Free-thinkers come along and point out the logical fallacies in your belief in order to help you understand where you are mistaken and . . .you attack them.

Why on earth would they say that?  WOuldnt they just say they had 250ghash or similar?

Because you're all willfully ignorant. You actually don't want to hear about how the math doesn't add up, shit, they could say they've just switched on 100Petahash of Scrypt to mine some super-secret Scrypt coin that nobody knows about and you'd all trample on each other in your rush to buy these mythical 'KHS'.

You see, that doesnt make sense to me.  I dont believe the site is a ponzi, yet 850gash seems excessive.  So, maybe they are not telling us everything, maybe they are keeping their cards close to their chest?

Do you see what you're doing? Math proves they are lying and you want to make the lie something 'good' so you don't have to accept reality. On the one hand you say they are not a ponzi scheme, but on the other you can't actually say what legitimate operation they could actually be. One that, by the way, needs to lie to you all in order to function properly.

Personally, I dont give a shit.  You ponzi fuktards can play with each others ass all day long making yourselves feel better by thinking you've done the world some sort of justice.

Again with the aggressive dismissal of us for darkening your happy thoughts with inconvenient facts which serve to inform you that, no, you're not going to get rich, quick or otherwise, with this criminal scam.

I dont think they're a ponzi,

No. You don't want to accept the fact that they are, yet you have no explanation for why a legitimate 'investment' scheme would need to lie to its 'investors' so blatantly.

The only thing scrypt.cc needs you to be is you and not be intellectually honest with yourself. You are doing that magnificently for them. You are what every religion is founded upon and continues to be supported by.

So you ask a question but then ignore the answer because you don't want to see the facts?

Why bother posting? You could have avoided seeing those inconvenient truths I posted if you'd only keep quiet and controlled your urge to post questions you don't want the answers to.

It's like you have DID and one part of you is typing questions before the other part of you kicks in and aggressively snarls rude things at us. That would explain why your post began seeming like you actually wanted to know the answers to the questions you asked and then weirdly deteriorated into ad-hominem about our asses.

I'm assuming you just got into crypto last week and missed entirely the fiascos that were Paycoin/Hashlets and LTCGear. Because I could take what you said VERBATIM and apply it to both of those failed scams, and just change a few details about hashrate and algorithm of coins mined. I'm sure you know the one about those who don't know history being doomed to repeat it. Or maybe you don't.

It's not about "doing the world justice." Some of us believe in the legitimate side of crypto and greedy, myopic little twats like you that are willing to take a "Fuck it I got mine" approach only serve to perpetuate crap this like that detracts from legitimate crypto mining and investments.

Great News! I hope a lot this site will come back and won't collapse under all the leaving people. The admin did a great job again! I'm glad to see my khs working again then. And now i have to think of a new user name... Cheesy Oh and a new password, stronger than 12345678 Cheesy The hardest is the pin... I was so happy about mine it was easy to remind for me... But security has priority not the asthetics of my passwords and pins.

login work for me , but settings window not working ? anybody is already able to change name and pass?
No you will be able to change them if all is back and running. At first of july at 9:00 Brazilian time you will be forced to change them. Be prepared towards that. After that the settings page should work again.
