No investment is without risk, it is whether you are able to be fully informed as to what the risks are that counts towards any decision to invest. If you look at my 'trust' profile you will see I dealt with user Pcfli and bought a few of the very first Innosilicon A2 Scrypt miners from him in May of last year. He offers good prices on ASIC miners and very reasonable hosting fees. Even if you cannot afford a whole miner yourself, you could get together with others and do a 'group buy' and agree on what to mine and when, distributing the mining income accordingly. That's if you can be trustworthy enough to each other. But, TBH, mining is rarely that profitable, so you would need to make sure you can at least run through the numbers before you commit to ensure you don't risk ending up with less than what you start with. As for development projects to invest in, no, as I said already most people here aren't the type who contribute usefully to them and are, more often than not, a demanding pain in the ass. You'll need to do your own research if you want to sort the wheat from the chaff.

Did you ever invest there? Absolutely categorically, NO. I have never 'invested' in Scrypt.cc nor any other scam cloud mining site. I have experience with actual mining, with actual hardware, bought from actual people, hosted at actual data centers and operated by me remotely to hash where I choose. Where do you invest?
In promising cryptocurrency projects, where people are actually working to create something useful. No, I have no interest in telling you which ones they are, before you ask. People who throw money at obvious scams in expectation of high returns are usually the ones yelling at development teams of genuine coin projects that the market price is dropping because they aren't pumping out enough announcements for their liking after buying half a bitcoin's worth and believing it then gives them entitlement to demand immediate price rises be made to happen. Development takes time and effort and cooperation, so short-term 'ROI'-seekers are not particularly helpful to the process. So by not pointing the people in the right direction you are dismissed as police officer. Only tells the wrongs and not the rights. It is very clear that you have shot the nigger without any reason or evidence. Problem follows. As you say short term ROI seekers are not helpful, neither are you as you not helping the so good developments which you are talking about by pointing people to them. This puts you in the corner of being a full body FUD spreader. If you would be visible in this corner, and is does not matter if you are a devil or not, you would be chased by the niggers to death. So stay in your corner :p

Sorry buddy, just try to make myself clear.... I am not a racist but just made a sample to make someone understand. And as scrypt is not yet closed down it can not be convicted as being a scam.

This puts you in the corner of being a full body FUD spreader. Ignoring your appalling use of racist epithets, your assertion is still false. You cannot claim that informing people as the fraudulent nature of Scrypt.cc is only valid so long as I then provide an alternative 'good' investment for them to put their money into. What is it with people demanding that they be told the 'secrets' to investing? The 'secret' is that you do some fucking research yourself you lazy bastards.

Ill just leave this here. This is an image of just litecoins hash rate for just 1 day 16th today... notice the 500GH gaps roughly. It is impossible to hide 850GH on the network, however its not impossible to turn them off and on strategically.

:head-desk: :head-desk: :head-floor: Which part of "The only space for Scrypt.cc's hashrate to fit is in the 'Unknown' section" don't you understand? The extra hashrate is already accounted for in known mining pools, mostly Chinese mining pools, by the way.

In investments there are no secrets, you will tell everyone to to make the business have more cash flow and will be followed with success so your own investment would be more safe than keep it your little secret.

Coinwarz provides the same results all combined without a pie chart the unknown can be switched off and on. Does that information you are pulling the GH from update periodically throughout the day?

Urgh! Again with the stupid. When I say that the extra hashrate doesn't appear in the 'Unknown' section I mean it is accounted for by increases in the KNOWN POOLS. FFS. . ..

So this is only LiteCoin? Yes but before you begin a whole new tidal wave of stupid, there is only about 60GH of total Scrypt coin networks outside of Litecoin.

Again, you are right about hash rate not being able to hide but it can be turned off and on and clearly visible wile doing so as unknown. The unknown on litcoinpool just shows the on part of unknown hashes not the "hiding" off hashes.

Show me where the 'Unknown' amount is increasing beyond a few dozen GH. I routinely check that figure and it is the Chinese pools mostly adding the extra hashrate to the total LTC network amount.

Calling others stupid, if you have made over 10k us$ in 6 month with an investment of 6,000 us$ as a hobby besides your main job you can call me so.

Just me roughly look at it for a few mins today I can find spikes of 700GH roughly its all in the charts. Not just the online unknown in the pie chart you need to consider whats not online or "hiding" if you will.

I think those charts are a bit off. I moderate at WeMineLTC, and we are reporting 17.6GH/s for our traffic.
