can someone tell me how many non-premined coins there are right now???

thanks

10,500,000

You can check out the premine addresses in the opening post on this thread.

98,451 coins are available to the market (minus pre-mine).
98,451 is the total that have been mined since launch

10,598,451 AUR is the total including pre-mine AND mined coins

10,500,000 is the pre-mine. (99% of total coins that exist (but not available) is pre-mine at this time.)

I would bet that 99% of people don't even know this simple but critical info.
$ 26.10 x 98,451 = $2,569,571 actual market cap on coins that are purchasable (1% of CMC cap stated).

Which is fine. Just people need to know this. $2.5 million cap is very reasonable for a such hot coin.
In three weeks when 330k people get these in their hands we will see where the cap goes but it's possible it could
be way less than $250m or it could be a lot more. There is really no way to tell and up to you what you think may happen.
Depends what the people do with them.

It will be a really really cool experiment - that is for sure.

Hi, I wrote the Auroracoin article on CCN you probably saw.

I'd like to do a follow-up interview with someone from the AUR team.

Please reply via PM.

You'll want to speak with balduro either here http://forum.auroracoin.org/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=2 or here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=236607

Thanks Bimmerhead, trying on BTCtalk thread.

Mine some Auroracoin with us!
Payout: Prop
Vardiff
Stratum

registrations open!

aur.ctrlaltdefeated.us

Please note that while the frontend maybe a bit slow our stratum server is doing fine. We currently have one of the best effeciency rates (99.81%) of any of the larger pools!

Uhhh page has been blank for hours. Kind of wanted to get my coins. Anyone know what the deal is? Thanks!

Login and withdraw your coins please

anychance of others withdrawing there coins Huh

Nope, blank page and my miner's been without work for who knows how long. It's possible it was a fake pool to rip us off.

They had a post several pages back telling everyone to log on and withdraw their coins because they had issues with their stratum.  I was able to successfully withdraw all my coins.  They gave you plenty of warning that they would probably take it down

I don't want to hear this crap. You got lucky you were up and about to read that post. I wasn't. We can't be expected to be available 24/7 to log on at the drop of a hat and withdraw our coins from an inconsistent pool.

As far as I'm concerned, they "tried" to do the right thing, but they didn't try hard enough. They didn't set out to steal our coins, but until they offer better than a 6 hour window when their dodgy website might be working for us to withdraw them, that is exactly what they have done.

It was almost 2 days worth of posts.  Obviously they aren't that important to you if you didn't bother to track it for 2 days.   Plus you would have known something was wrong with the pool if you checked your miners.  Don't expect to earn without doing the work.  Why dont you go back to the pages and PM the owner of the pool instead of just complaining?

Hmm I'm wondering where to mine...

The first 25 pools who reply their details will get 100kh/s from me for 1 minute each.

We don't handle any transaction fees only a mining fee of 1%.

10,500,000

You can check out the premine addresses in the opening post on this thread.

That means there are only about 98800 available for trade. Take off the hoarders who won't be trading anytime soon, the real number available will stay low till March 25.

I expect the prices to rise if the demand stays this high

Would we hit $100 before March 25?

Yes, it went up from $3 to $31 in less than a week. Still 22 more days to go.

It's psychological. People see big ++ in last few days, then sell all other coins and buy it. But since supply is so low till March 25, I think we are nowhere near done yet

That might happen, and I wish everyone it will.

However difficulty is so high atm, only early adopters are gonna profit from it.

I think it might be better buying than mining at this point.

I could have bought at $3 but didn't, but then I bought at $10

I wonder what happens to prices if a big chinese site like BTC38 adds it

Yes, this coin is somehow different; it's a gift to Islanders; and the gift's value will be exactly how the receivers value it. If they think it is worthless, it will be worthless. If they value it high, it vill be precious..

And the initial value will be what markets decide before airdrop. Currently, markets are well aware of the total amount of coins in circulation vs total coin reserve. AFAIK, markets are not allways right, but at least they should know the preferences.

Yes, it doesn't show the usual pump when listed on big Exchange + immediate dump and slowly descending price.

If you look at charts, it's been a steady rise.

0.07 on cryptsy atm.

I think what's helping the coin price is also the other cryptos performing horribly atm, so Aur is seen as a reserve.
