Economics can define all the ways of putting your money in the system and growing it securely and systematic ways. If that can happen in that way then surely it is more or less good knowledge. There are some parts about economics that are taught at school, it is also part of education system, i don't know but maybe a few had experience on this one. That is not really compulsory in the field of businesses, because as far as i have experienced, you only need to find it out by yourself in order to learn about it, it is not actually forced to you and badly needed before you went on business. No that's not it.
