Economics is very important for human life. An individual who does not know the economy can take the wrong steps in his life. However, only technical knowledge is useless. Practically, we need to study economics. Economics is very important.

The one thing wrong about the title is the "at University" part. You can learn Economics without taking any courses pertaining to it. At this age, you can pretty much learn anything. It is a matter of being mindful of it.

Well, I don't quite agree that technical knowledge is useless, we need people like them. I'd rather have viable people in their "expert" field working with me than doing something delicate myself.

Personally, I'll just hire people who have such expertise.

Economics allows us to understand the basic and advanced phenomena that form market relations between groups of individuals and even entire States. Understanding the fundamentals of Economics is necessary to predict the exchange rate of any assets.

I'm not formally educated in economics myself but it's something that almost everyone can relate in. After all it affects us on a daily basis. And it's something we can learn, at least the basic concepts, some of which are intuitive enough to people (for example "supply and demand").

Most economics that are taught in Universities follows the Keynesian school of economics, which heavily favors printing copious amounts of money and throwing it at the wall to see what sticks.

Economics research can also provide useful knowledge to make decisions in everyday life. Thus, learning economics at university is good for future growth, when the student goes to society it will help him make good choices in life. Economics might also help in bitcoin or crypto to choose which projects to invest in.

We cannot understand the current market situation if we will not study economics. I'm a trader and it is required for me to understand the law of demand and supply. It is hard for me to analyze a chart if I do not have prior knowledge about economics. The economic subjects and courses are really important and it is the reason why the government are keep implementing that regulations.

I don't really like Economy to be honest, it's difficult for me to understand what is actually going on around the world and I don't even know most of the words on economics are.
I'd say you should not take Economics if its not your passion, even becoming a trader doesn't require you to master the economy at all.

They all have in common is a one characteristic which is to be good at communicating with people, and to build trust that eventually leads to profits. In terms of this, we just need to deal with some basics of economics and business administration to have a good start, so the rest will be upon us. Letting ourselves to self learn and to apply how we could make profits out of learning economics at the University.

I have always been interested in Economics, I was pretty good at in school without learning, it just seemed logical to me.
But I am pretty bad at learning and have to repeat it a lot of times because it is in my head, so I never really liked learning or school.

I still want to open my own business and without studying business or economics it is gonna be pretty hard, But I feel I am already to old to go to school again.

Here's the thing, unless we are buying books mainly created in our country that is directly teaching us about the economy, then it would be effective. Plus, people are mainly distributed, some instructors aren't living in the same country's as ours. With this, economy of different country varies, leading to a different perspective we could formulate to apply to our own place. So, with that, we need to know the course objective and the books that universities are using, plus to be in field to really learn economics even without enrolling in universities.

 I feel like maybe it could be a governmental trouble if we put economics in the school, sure at college level I can understand it and its mostly high end mathematics but when you talk about economics there is politics involved as well, just to give an example how would a socialist country work with economics, how would a democratic socialist one, how does a capitalist one, how does a communist one, these are all economics as well. Teaching kids economics at a very young age should be regarding "saving money" and thats the key stuff, postponing pleasure in order to have a bigger relief at the end should be thought at a very young age in order to stop consumerism but we shouldn't bring politics into economics too much as well.

Yeah true, economics should be teach at a younger age but not the politics. The younger and developing minds should not get involve into the fuss of politics. But, economics is very helpful even at the young age of your life. As you get older you get involved in many activities and at the same time role of it increases as well.

Based on my experience and observation in my school, for me, economics is the first we learn since knowledge about the economy will contribute to the growth of country and people. And it's also important for the people and nation of all countries. So if the country is going to develop as well as the economy. If you want to learn the development of other nations, test the economy of the country first. If the economy is going to expand, other countries must link and invest the new business. Therefore, economic growth and development are important for people. The growth of people is therefore necessary for the growth of the country. But some country won't know how to make the economy better. There is no money in the economy. It's part of the land.

What you talk is what every person learn about economy and those are basics, we all learn them as we grow. I think here the topic is about economics itself, about production, consumption and distribution, about all economic activities. Economic is a social science with many branches.
For better understanding you need to study any science. Will you study at home from your computer, at university, or your father have a store and you learn while you practice, it's not matter in my opinion, every way have its pros and cons, it's about how hard you wish to learn something and how hard you work for that. We have successful people from all classes, each person have a different story, some raised from bottom, others dropped from top. What counts is hard work and faith in what you are doing, where ever you are, which ever way you choose, just hard work and faith.

To me, economics is very useful and giving attention to what is happening to our country today in terms of topics, information. Economics essentially underpins what we humans do and can explain why people and governments behave in certain ways by observing how citizens and markets work. But as far as university and public school are concerned, enrolling in universities is not mandatory. It only depends on how to educate their students well to learn about economics and how it works.

In my university I saw economics, and it is clearly demonstrable that in many scenarios the economy tries to explain all the phenomena of speculation and inflation, of course that volatility was not contemplated as high as safe investment, as is the case with Bitcoin. (considered high risk) according to some books of economists.

But when a fractal is made in economies such as Venezuela, simply with the traditional economy learned in a university there is no solution, when we consider that Bitcoin works as a refuge value for this country, it is the perfect solution (this happens when inflation exceeds 1000% +), it is chaos, but Bitcoin in particular economies is the best solution. Nowadays, in some universities, like the Spanish ones, they are implementing Blockchain Education, this is an additional advantage because it begins a cycle considering the offer of Bitcoin's existing deflationary economy and cryptocurrencies.
