Why we must study Economics at University?

Subjects like economics, family management, social responsibility, self-help should be taught in the basic school level.  In economics, I am not talking about the direct application using the formulas but it can be introduced in such a way that student get interested. Just by producing good economist one country can move to a better positon in just few years.

For me, studying Economic will increase your financial literacy, so it is important to know how market works, how your countries economy works, the law of supply and demand as we can apply it in our real life, even here in crypto as well, so it's really important to know things regarding it.

Economics is applied in every field and every phase of life. Even housewives need economics to deal with their house loads. Students need it to deal their own expenses. So, if you are entering into the field of business that will be important to know economics. As it will act as a basic guide for you and will lead you to deal with crypto market. Apart from reading and learning it applying it jn your daily life will make you a good trader.

 I feel like maybe it could be a governmental trouble if we put economics in the school, sure at college level I can understand it and its mostly high end mathematics but when you talk about economics there is politics involved as well, just to give an example how would a socialist country work with economics, how would a democratic socialist one, how does a capitalist one, how does a communist one, these are all economics as well. Teaching kids economics at a very young age should be regarding "saving money" and thats the key stuff, postponing pleasure in order to have a bigger relief at the end should be thought at a very young age in order to stop consumerism but we shouldn't bring politics into economics too much as well.

The subject of the economy is incredibly simple but it has become the battlefield of politicians because they believe that the natural behaviours of people should bend to their will and a basic study of economics says that is impossible, just to give you an example, most countries are heavily indebted, if that was anyone else then we will say that you need to cut your spending and begin to pay your debt, but governments want to believe they can spend all the money they want and suffer no consequences for it.

This is just a part of the problem and it doesn't involve only governments and politicians but bankers too.
However, economy is not that simple as it might seem and  economy also changed as society changed and new forns appears. Also, you can't be an expert in economy without study and without insight into past of economy and all its forms, legal basis, rules and everything and that is something that University will give you. Also, economy is very tiight connected with other disciplines so to be good economists it's not enough to be involved only with economy.

How much I should invest for how long that's all I learned from my economics subject in my college days so every student should learn economics.

I'm not from the part of people who get economics at university, but I study statistics and I think I can use this to calculate what is likely to happen. and what I know is quite helpful for me when I study trade elsewhere. maybe I will be a little dizzy when learning the calculations but to be honest this knowledge is very useful when I apply to trading in the market.

Yes some schools teaches economics and things related to it to young ones, High School students to be exact(here in my country) and yes it is helpful because they are already understanding things about economics at a young age but as we enter college most of them tend to forget ehat they study about economics so instead of just having a ted talk maybe we can have a special subject or minor subject about economics that can be teached in the 1st and 2nd year of college. Even though we have our own dreams and subjects we want to specialized, having economics teach in college can help students reach other opportunities and contribute more to the country.

I agree with your point of view that these subjects should be taught to everyone in their schools as a compulsory subject because almost all of the people no matter from which field they belong are affected by the economics of the country so they will be familiar with the situations. One of the things that never cease to amaze me is that people spend a great deal of their lives learning all kind of knowledge about different disciplines but they never spend the time to learn how the economy work so they can make use of their money in a more effective way, and this shows especially in this market in which most people do not really understand why bitcoin was created and they only want to earn money with it but are unable to do it because of their lack of knowledge about the economy.

Well people want to get rich and i do think the best way to get rich is by doing a businesses and doing what we know about economics. I do study economics and i do think it do changes even though its only a bit. I do think its easy when you know the key how to earn a money, and there is a lot way to earn money, a decent one , like doing a trading, or even persuade someone to do a businesses with you.

I think one of the reasons i visit here is that people tend to say things or share ideas that are interesting... And ofcourse "economics" is very applicable in cryptocurrency world, and it's important part of our lives.  I think it is better to be part of things that are good and useful to people's lives while spending time online.
 I never really enjoyed "school economics" but i guess I enjoy it on this section.
