TBH, it sounds like an interesting role. It does not take 12h daily like PL club management, it is different and offers a new challenge.

I'm happy for him, I think football in general needs guys like him - anywhere where they want to be. He gave us his all, he made us great again and no matter that I selfishly wanted him to remain there for a long time, it was simply not feasible.

As you can see, Ward and Edwards are back, there were obviously some difficulties there with Klopp that were hidden from the public - I think that Klopp grew tired of the expectations that were put in front of him. He endured 10 years of it - which is more than anybody could have hoped for when we signed him.

Probably 60 years after leaving Redbull, when he could just sit in VIP and eat burgers without worrying about training, travelling around the continent scouting potential, and bringing home huge checks to his wife. Internal position is really good for someone of his age; perhaps he might return to Liverpool as something different but not as a coach.

I also think he will return to coaching after sometime. I do not think it will be full competitive football, maybe a national team like you hinted to or a club in a not so competitive league which pays him a lot of money.

60 is not such an old age for managers. Gasperini is still loving it and is well above 60, Mourinho and Ancelotti are above 60 too.

Who knows what new role will exactly be for Klopp, we are just speculating at this point. In any case all Red Bull sponsored teams have much lower expectations and pressure associated than top PL club.

I remeber Klopp complaining about english weather several times and that coupled with pressure was probably enough for him to say good buy to UK part of his life.

Klopp will be advising/supporting sports directors on player transfers, serving as a coach advisor, and scouting talent across Red Bull's network, which will require a lot of travel. It will be a very difficult job for someone who earlier stated that he was tired of managing one club and will now be managing 4.

He gave his all for Liverpool, and there was nothing else he could have done if he had stayed. I doubt nobody would ever turn down a Red Bull offer.

How ridiculous... Tired of 1 club but now excited about 4 clubs, Klopp is a genius.

Maybe he thinks it's harder to manage an English Club than 4 clubs from different leagues.

I’m missing the PL & CL games. These international breaks suck, it’s hard to believe there are three international breaks before the end of November. The season starts in mid August and we have three fortnight breaks within a few months, what a load of crap.

Can’t wait for this nonsense to be over so we can get back to business.

He never did say it was easy, I was only suggesting that not being on the spot and having to deal with the media pressure and front page headlines will be a welcome changes after years of competing fr titles across different countries in Europe.

I just act like it is a break and do not pay much attention to it except to check if any players picked up injuries while on national duty.

They suck very much and Nations League are worst of them.
Normal qualifications for EURO or World Cup are way better competition.

Maybe Giorgi Mamardashvili is coming from Valencia on loan, but this is a big blow for Liverpool.

Unfortunately, both scenarios are unlikely to happen given that Klopp's 5-year contract with Redbull does not include an exit clause, and Nagelsmann will remain out of club football and focus on the national team until after the 2026 World Cup. I am not ruling out the possibility of Nelgelsmnan getting sacked before the World Cup or abandoning the national team for club football, but I highly doubt it.

It will be Kelleher I think. He has stood in for Alisson before and done pretty well.

Don’t quote me on it but I think there is an agreement with Valencia for Mamardashvili to stay with them for the whole season. I don’t think we have an option to recall him.

I actually agree and think it’s why we made the Mamardashvili deal. Being injury prone as a goalkeeper is ridiculous.

The disruption also makes it difficult to predict the form teams will return to league football with. Those who were in poor form are grateful for the break cause they get to reset, but those who were in flying form now have to somehow find that form back. I remember when Arsenal lost a game just before international break around this point last season and that made the entire 2 weeks wait dreadful, cause that loss hangs over the team for much longer.

Could be another Arteta masterclass to draw both of his best players from international break as fast as possible to rest them for premier League games, he can't afford to lose Trossard, Ode, Saka and Kai at the same time.

Halaand, Saka both faked international break injury last season so I won't be surprised if this is another fake injury thing.

It will suck if both are not fit for the trip to Bournemouth next weekend, another reason why more international breaks are not healthy, Ødegaard's injury was also sustained while on international assignment, but he should be match ready sooner rather than later.

Liverpool always lose their form after the breaks. It happened many times with us. The next match is against Chelsea and in Anfield. A draw or even losing all three points would not surprise me.

True, but I didn't want to use those words because whomever is in charge of Arsenal's set piece training should be sent to jail before every GK in the league suffers shoulder and hip injuries from Ben White, Gabriel, and Saliba pressing. Arteta is just too cool for such dark art. There's is Micheal Scofield somewhere running the show.

Those fake injuries are part of the dark art I'm sure of it..
