Chelsea started to show quite good performances in the late times of the season. They managed to collect 13 points in the last 5 matches. For next season, I think that they have a big chance for top 4. I was checking the side bets as the end of the season was approaching. If Haaland doesn't score 7 goals on the last week I'm going to pay cryptofrka's PL pool entry fee next season. If Haaland didn't get injured during the season I think I would be the winner of this side bet.

My newcastle bet against you looked decent up until about 3 weeks ago, haha. Do you have a link handy for the spreadsheet with all those bets?

You won the side bet against me 20 games into the season - Stone can't even catch a break.   

Chelsea topping Newcastle means I'm losing $50 to Harkorede, can't believe I went against my club but yal fuck it as long as I'm gonna play the Europa league next season after a terrible start I don't care much. We need to finish strong and pray Manchester wins the FA cup.

I was holding the 10th place which is also last place for the paid prizes in the pool, only for to drop points this week and I'm currently 1.5 points away from the 10th position with a lot people right on my tail too. I'll need quite a miracle to make it into the final top 10 this game week.

I really cant believe how bad i ended in all the competitions including this one, droping from top to a horrible 17 spot, but not only here droping in LaLiga from third position into 9 in only two rounds, i dont know what to think, i dont change anything in how i made my picks, seems like luck has left me in the most important part of the season.

I'm the biggest loser though, I had Salah over 22,5 and he had 14 in 20 games before AFCON.
Injury there made him miss 3 easy games (Brentford, Luton and Forest) and he simply didn't return to pre-AFCON form.

United is a really badly assembled team but I like Kobbie Mainoo a lot. I say that every time I watch him play, the kid's got superstar potential.

He is a decent lad, I will like to see him in the Euros this year.

Last day of the season, give a show in front of your fans before returning to the lower division, players under zero pressure and wanting to show other clubs they are worth buying so they stay up. I do see a scenario where that happens and hope it does.

Success, without a doubt, increases your fan base, and it is difficult for non-city clubs like Chelsea and others to compete with city clubs like Liverpool and Manchester United, where nearly everyone who grew up there became a fan right away.

98% of my state's population supports our local club, Rivers United, in the Nigeria Premier League, good or bad. Liverpool dominated in the 1980s, Manchester United dominated in the 1990s, and Chelsea rose to prominence in the 2000s, so most of our fans emerged from the cave once the team provided us with something to be proud of. 

And to be honest I actually not only agree but say this is correct and should be a right thing to happen. Why else would a club want success if not to build a fanbase? Cup money is temporary. Fan money is forever

But I think the thing here I wanted to say is about plastic fans. Fans who only suddenly show up because they have a great team, but once the team is down, they are quiet and disappear.

Worse, they even change teams! I saw too many Manchester United fans who suddenly became Chelsea fans and worse now become City fans. I never understood this. This is something quite common among Asians plastic fans.

I feel like it makes a difference like City having quiet fans, even remember Mourinho complained Stamford bridge was quiet stadium. He should have expected that tho, majority were the plastic fans who only showed up because of Russian money. At least now you can see who is a true Chelsea fan if they're still showing up. Same as Barca and United lol

The performance which we have from Tottenham in last 10 games they deserve to be out of the top 6 but most chances they will be keep their place here with Sheffield United can beat them, and they could be dropped to sixth as Chelsea done impressive run and now having chance of 5th spot which could be ideal end of their season after too many poor results, but they are on recovery and next season could be much better for them.
Now Manchester City is having chance of double even Manchester United done good job but still they are not strong enough to hold Citizens into final of the FA Cup with this quality.

Yes, the exact score is that part of the random that cannot be controlled and I also had negative emotions because of this. But now, due to the poor position in the standings, in almost all competitions I focus only on the yellow cap and I don’t worry too much if I don’t guess enough results again.

I’m doing OK in buwaytress’s Rollbit CL Superbru pool. I’m set to get a paid position in that but overall I suck in most of the pools for the last few seasons.

I am probably going to be break even with the Rollbit pool prize when the other entry fees are added up. I guess you have to be in it to win it but maybe I’ll not be in all of them next season.

I understand your point, but I was just rather sure that both Newcastle would finish ahead of Chelsea, because If I recall vividly Chelsea had about 3 games at hand then, and I knew that both Aston Villa and Newcastle had some really tough game... although If I were to pick Chelsea finishing above just one of those teams, I probably would picked Aston Villa because I didn't expect thing to turnout like this for them with injury upon injury that kept piling up for them. I'm not just going to celebrate my win yet because I'd not want to jinx it

Yes i play in every single pool, and in everyone im always in the fight for paid positions but is my first time after 3 season having this trouble, i always ended up in a better way than my start but now is a total shit in every single pool.

I used to be like that in the previous season yet in the last one I won double the entry fee exactly in this pool here last year.In this season I will get at least near 400 dollars if I screw it up really big in the final game of the Champions League pool or if I stay like this a nice over 700 dollars prize which would be the highest I have won from a pool.I am also relatively well in the F1 pool and I expect to hit the top 5 there too although even the last prize spot is good as long as you get money in the end,so don't give up,never and that Last Man Standing sound like fun yet I only like traditional pools that is why am not interested there.

Seriously not expecting anything from that game - we're currently in Arsenal situation, just win our game and hope others slip. Our GD is better.
