Arsenal's on fire, damn. 11 goals in the last 2 games, without conceding as well. They scored 21 in the last 5.

Liverpool performed well too, but we still have to see if the win was paid with a heavy price. Our team is already decimated, Jota's injury looked like at least few weeks out.
I can't believe I'm saying this, but I really hope Nunez's ok. He's having a good period, he took his goal with some style today.

Next we have Luton, and then Chelsea. Considering the injuries, I really don't care that much about the League Cup. Yeah, it's a trophy, yeah, I wanna win it. But we're in a great position in the league, that would be my main priority.
Chelsea will fumble the Cup anyway, we can win with a mixed team.

Most likely Liverpool will prioritize the winning of the Premier League rather than spending energies to win some other trophy no matter what that trophy is.This gets emphasized even more with the parting of Klopp at the end of the season,I am sure he would appreciate a lot more to leave with a Premier League trophy rather than without it so in this context it is a sure thing Liverpool will have their priority the league.

I would not care much about Arsenal no matter how many goals they score they are not a consistent team,the team I would worry lost 2 points today and that is super beneficial for Liverpool.

From 4th best goal difference to 1st, yeah, they've been reaping the rewards of several key players (Saka no doubt top of that list) rediscovering some fine vein of form. We're okay too, 4 players with 10 or more goals all competitions already, it's the setup I like, means we're not reliant on one source. Didn't watch this game but it's bad the injury extent hasn't been released yet... can't believe we're losing Jota, but you better believe in your Nunez redemption. Agree about Cup, we can win it without committing... and if we don't it's really okay. Kelleher has a major gauntlet of games though...

Arsenal have been on fire since our trip to the Middle East. We went from having the worst goal difference in the top 3 to the best in just a couple of weeks. The team is coming together nicely with Martin Ødegaard and Bukayo Saka finally hitting top gear. And I should nto forget Havertz, I still have my reservations, but his movements, positioning and link up play have improved significantly.

Nasty injury to Jota. He was in flying form and would be a huge blow, but I think Liverpool can cope nicely till he is back.

Kai has performed better than all the other sales Chelsea made last summer. I still think we overspent for him, but he has performed up to the expectations I had. I never expected he would justify his price tag however.

No one is being fooled here, we back our players to the end and Kai is a gooner now.

Only Kai Havertz was sold to a more stable project (team), thus expectations were high, which is why you paid so much for him in the first place.

Of all the players we sold last season, Kai is not doing better statistically than 30-year-old Ziyech.

Ziyech has 4 goals and 2 assists from 9 games this season.

Kai Havertz has 8 goals and 3 assists in 27 games.

Supporting your players is part of the game, but don't come and tell us everything we already know. Kai is just being Kai; he hasn't changed. The best part of Kai ended with that Champion's winning goal. He is now being used as LB for the Germany national team. ( A clear message)

Liverpool is dealing with a lot of injuries at the moment, and it appears that the title challenge will be between Citeh and Arsenal looking at Liverpool current injury list. I'm surprised to find that Thiago is still a Liverpool player; when I was told he had less than 5 assists in his entire Bayern Munich career, I thought it was a joke; now I understand why.

Osimhem was getting kidnapped by CAF for unexpected drug test for running like a beast at the recently concluded AFCON. These Liverpool players are fed something every half-time because they are always unmatched in the second half. I do not know how they do it.

If we don't win the Cup this weekend, Gallagher and Caicido will have to add some players to their injury list, jeopardising their title challenge. This way, Liverpool pay for their sins.

I think the Anfield crowd is what keeps them going most of the times. They are great normally, but at home, they are almost unplayable. That made the 1 point we picked up at Anfield very precious.

I agree for the final match every player is normally motivated to play their best yet when this impose a risk to the title fight challenge then the manager of the team can make a decision to play with their 2nd eleven while conserving the first eleven for the title fight.Normally the coach should not take any such drastic measures but in this context where Liverpool plays for the title and the coach leaves at the end of the season so this can very well happen.

I think that is unlikely. Liverpool have fielded very strong sides for all their matches since the round of 16. Klopp would definitely start his strongest side against Chelsea this weekend.

They would bother about the league when the next match comes around.
