It's smart contract from euthereum.

i still confused with this statement
Quote
Note: due to the high number of claims, we will introduce the requirement of a small fee of ETH in order to activate the claimed Genesis Addresses. This can be done by the owner of the Genesis Address in any point of time in the future after minereum V2 is launched. For users who have no intention to send the ETH fee please read: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4495159.msg53356108#msg53356108

We are thinking about introducing a measure for users who don’t want to send the eth fee to allow other users to send it for you, but this only if the owner of the address allows it. In this case the Genesis Address would be automatically transferred to the new user who sends the fee.

For example:

Assuming the fee is 0.05 ETH for activations, you could set your address “allow others to activate” this would set a fixed fee of twice the current fee (0.10 ETH for this example) and you as the owner would get 0.05 ETH. At the same time the address is transferred to the new owner.

so people who joined the airdrop must pay some fee?
how much? is it worthed to pay fee? i think the price can be lower than the fee

... never got any Meos and Mtron back...

Read:

The MEOS and MTRON refund was done, already announced more than a month ago:

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Guys let's be fair. The Dev try to get paid for the work they do? I am fine with that, I am even more driven by paid projects than the free ones. You pay someone for the work, you keep them cosy. I don't need free projects where the only incentive for the dev is to sell high and vaporise.
If we want to be successful as a community and draw profits from our investment in fair manner, we need to motivate the dev to stay.

Now, 0.05 is it a bit high? I think so, I would say 0.02-1 would be more reasonable especially now with the market going up, to ask 15$ fees it's a bit too much I think. So let's see what would be the final price Undecided

Basically, it's not even the final calculation. I hope that the developer of minereum will be very welcome with your suggestion but the team has clearly stated if the exact amount is not yet determined. That can be less than 0.05 or more than 0.05. I just hope the dev will take a very wise decision for that.
Just hope if that must not more than 5$ as the maximum fees.
this has become the main concern for everyone here. Imagine if there will be a million users and that's a huge money

LAUCHING MINEREUM V2 SOON

Hi everyone,

We will launch minereum v2 soon.

Before launch we need to make a snapshot of the current balances of all addresses to take to v2, please take into account:

- Livecoin Deposits & Withdrawals will be suspended soon, if you want to have your mne in your own address make sure to withdraw them now
(your coins will be updated to v2 on livecoin automatically if you keep them there)
- If you have a v1 Genesis Address make sure you take out all your coins to another address
(see here for more info)

We will inform about the snapshot date/time here as soon as we know exactly, after that new address balances will not be taken to v2.

We will also stop the airdrop claim page and stake holder program soon, so make sure you are all set if you want to participate in those.

More updates soon!

As far as i know they are still deciding what the price will be, but i think 0.05 for Level 2 is a bit high fee considering that the price of Ethereum has risen to $285 from $160 in the last 30 days

I am something new in this and I have some doubts, if the addresses will only be activated by paying the fees, for those who do not want or have to pay for the activation, can the address still be sold?

This

There will be 3 levels of Genesis Addresses
- Level 1 (no fee)
Genesis Addresses receives 32,000 MNE but is not activated, owners can set these addresses for sale. However since the address is not activated, coins are not self mined and MNE transfers are not possible.
- Level 2 (fee applies)
Genesis Address is activated and the self-mining process starts, owners can set the address for sale at the price they wish, however MNE transfers are not possible
- Level 3 (fee applies)
Genesis Address is fully activated including MNE transfers & MNE decentralized trading

The Level 1 addresses are the ones being airdropped in the claim page right now (http://v2.minereum.com) after mne v2 is launched owners will be able to upgrade the addresses to Level 2 & Level 3.

Keep in mind that when the claim phase ends it will not be possible to create more Level 1 addresses.

To answer your question the mining process only starts after Level 2 is activated, meaning the sooner they are activated the more coins they will mine.

you want to get into the top 50 coins in the telegrams you wrote. I will tell you how to do it. and there will be no activation fee. the coin will really fly up. and you will earn more with the commission, it is very important that the commission is in mne. and so let's go

this will be the case if all 600,000 address genesis are activated simultaneously. but considering this it’s not possible, because the owners of the genesis of the addresses may simply not have money for activation. you need to cancel the activation fee. because it’s 600,000 addresses, and the owners are much smaller. I currently have 7000 addresses and I do not have money to activate them. my three friends have 2000 addresses. total 13,000 addresses in 4 people. so that activation must be canceled. You don’t know how many addresses anyone has. if there are 50 more people who have 7000 addresses, then this is already 350,000 addresses. and they don’t have money to activate, then the coin will not work in the top 50.charge an activation fee. Better to you,% for withdrawing mne, for example, I sell 1000 mne, for example, 5% of your 20 mne out of the blue. and then the addresses all activate. and money from the commission you will receive at times more than just once you collect for activation. it's my opinion. Thanks.

The Dev wrote that the commission was needed to prevent people from claiming thousands of genesis addresses and then dumping mne... So the commission have the purpose to prevent this. Now you are asking the dev to remove the commission because you did exactly what the commission should prevent.... This sounds a little strange  Roll Eyes

The Dev is expecting a lot of never activated genesis addresses... If you read carefully his messages you will find that this was expected.

Looks like you and your friends simply lost an enormous amount of time claiming that high number of addresses. I'm sorry about that.

Ok, i have some questions, i didn't fully understand about the v1 genesis addresses, i have one and have some balance there, so my Genesis address will be used for a V2 of Minereum, but what i don't understand is that the dev said it will be restarted, and until i pay the fee, it won't go to level 2, so what will happen with the MNE that was mained already there after the snapshot?, will my balance be transfer, so i could put out my MNE later? or will it be lost? I ask mostly because this contradictory information.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR V1 GENESIS ADDRESS OWNERS

note: if you are only participating in the v2 airdrop this information is not relevant for you and nothing to worry about.

To all v1 Genesis Address holders, please be aware:

Due to technical limitations in the migration to V2, all v1 Genesis Addresses will be restarted, if you want to keep your available balance from your v1 genesis address make sure to transfer the available balance out to another normal address before the Snapshot date. Snapshot date should happen somewhere in February. All v1 Genesis Addresses will be taken to v2 however the old available  balance won’t be taken and the new mining process only starts upon activation to level 2. For more information about the Genesis Addresses levels: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4495159.msg53656242#msg53656242

For normal v1 address owners with MNE nothing to worry about, your balances will be taken to v2.

First he says that we must do something with v1 addresses, then says that there is no worry, so what it is, do we take out the MNE or no?

I think you need to make a difference between genesis address and just a normal address. for the first one action needed, for the second onen nope!

In this new decentralized trading platform we are planning to apply a 10% fee to the overall ETH volume used to acquire Genesis Addresses.

To reward all the minereum early and current adopters we will create a special program starting from today that will allow you to receive a percentage of all the trading fees applied on this new market (for life).
Here it is not clear: only tokens created in the first wave of Airdrop will be able to participate in this program?
Do you have a counter of already registered addresses?

The explanation that has been made by minereum admin is very clear. The features of your genesis mining address will not be activated since your address will be defined as a dead address. The activation fees is key to use all of the features that will be available in your genesis address. Im also still feeling doubt whether our new minereum will be locked on that address or not.
