Not yet , i should connect metamsk to the genesi address but some time i am very lazy, i will do that soon or later, what should i do with the old genesis address any info about it?

i have been doing it too but i just try to make if someone who have already upgraded their wallet to the level 3 are able using the feature that has already mentioned by the developer. AFAIK, some people can't even send their coin and im also looking for someone who have tried it.

Hi Everyone,

Here is an update on the MNE Staking feature following the previous announcement here

How it works

The Minereum Staking Process is planned to work like this:

- Each Staking Period will last for 365 days (after the 365 period ends, a new one starts)

- Each day will have a total MNE Staking Interest Rate assigned to it

- Each day this Interest rate will decrease by 1%

- At the end of each day the final amount of MNE sent by the participants will determine how much each paticipant will get in relation to the percentage of what they sent for staking

For example:

Day 1
- Interest Rate: 1000%
- 1 user participates with 1,000 MNE
- User will get the whole interest rate of 1000%, means he will be entitled to claim 10,000 MNE

Day 2
- Interest Rate: 990%
- 2 user participates with 10,000 MNE each
- Total Staking Pot: 20,000 MNE
- User 1 participated with 10,000 MNE, meaning he has 50% of the pot, meaning he gets 50% of the interest rate = 495% = 49,500 MNE
- Same for User 2

Day 3
- Interest Rate: 980%
- 100 users participate with 1,000 MNE each
- Total Staking Pot: 100,000 MNE
- Each user participated with 1,000 MNE, meaning each user has 1% of the pot, meaning each user gets 1% of the interest rate = 9.8% = 1098 MNE

Limitations:

- Genesis Addresses cannot participate in MNE Staking directly (however mined coins can be transfered to other addresses to participate)
- The staking will last for 365 days and the staked coins can be claimed after that.

For example:

When a user participates on day 1, he will be able to claim his coins on day 365 + 1
When a user participates on day 2, he will be able to claim his coins on day 365 + 2
When a user participates on day 3, he will be able to claim his coins on day 365 + 3
etc.

Here you can see a chart with the interest rate curve for each day.

You should go there with your V2 genesis address. Have you gotten your V2 address? Your ethereum wallet will not work to upgrade your genesis address into the next level. I think you can read the older posts too.

That’s nothing to do with developer wallets. Because there are some limitations in ethereum smart contracts, it’s not possible to guarantee the constant order of arrays based on certain factors given that the array is changeable  (for example by date). Whenever someone removes an address from sale (manually or if it gets sold) that gap in the list needs to be filled and it has to get filled with the last address from the list, otherwise infinite amounts of gas would be required to reorder the whole list. This is the only viable technical way we found during development to be able to guarantee a 100% on chain dapp.

So in other words: If an address from the first page gets sold, that position will be filled with the last Genesis Address set for sale and that’s probably what happened for this case.

You don’t have to take our word for it, if you have coding experience you can also check the source code so you can validate what was just said

Secondly, I have two accounts. One on Origin [Origin Tokens (OGN)] and the other on the Trezor T hard wallet. None of them has 32,000 MNE visible, though https://etherscan.io shows they are there. I tried to add tokens in the beta wallet with Trezor T, but it shows 0 MNE. I wrote for support, but wrote back to contact https://www.minereum.com/

1. No, you can only send your already mined token which is ~1.84MNE/day
2. I never use those wallet but maybe you can export your private key from those wallet to MEW or MetaMask,etc

but unfortunately, I can't send MNE tokens to LiveCoin exchanger
I tried to send 32000 tokens and the transaction failed
then I tried to send just 1.84 MNE, then 1.8 MNE,  then 1.5 MNE, and finally just 1 MNE but in vain, all transactions failed!
Can you please tell me why I can't withdraw tokens and I wonder if someone succeeded to transfer them.

Yes the Dev dumped his coins to cash out what? 100$? Guys have you seen the market cap? We have 1 exchange and nothing is moving. There is no buyers/sellers, is not like Mne was at 10mln cap and someone cashed out 10k. With this market no one can get anything out of it.

Transactions fail because in reality you dont have 32 000 MNE. You will have it but it takes many years (read older posts, many have explained it)

I want to clear few things, I want to know that as you have changed contract address so there are MNE on old contract address in our account showing  no value, how we can shift them to new contract address ? or it will be shifted automatically and we done need to do anything? Please guide us regarding this. and also tell me that is it affecting level 2 address for mining and staking?

You should upgrade it into the Genesis V2 address level 3 but as someone stated above and you can only send the amount that has already minted and available in your wallet and you can't send the whole amount at once caused by it's still locked
