if someone forgot the key of bitcoin wallet then forget your assets too. because it impossible to recover password, seed and private key, in blockchain technology. that is dark side of this technology. You just need to copy your private key to offline storage, do not store it in one place so you always have a backup if you lose your private key on another offline copy, maybe that simple thing can help you to save the private key.

It is always advised to keep a print of your Private key incase you forget it. If you loose your Private key there is only one way to retrieve it and that is using Pass phrase. It is also recommended to keep a print of your Pass phrase. If you loose both accidentally or if you forget it then it is not possible for you to access your wallet.
Please keep a print record of these things and keep it somewhere safe so that incase you forget you can get access to your wallet.
Never reveal these information to anyone.

From my own understanding I think if someone forget the key to their Bitcoin wallet then their money will be of no use because they will not be able to access their wallet again. I remember, when I forgot the login details to my bitcoin wallet, my $100 in d said wallet was gone with it.

to keep your private key safe and in memory,there any alternatives to retrieve the key back long as you have a copy or you saved the file of your key then it shouldn't be a problem...People should be aware how much important the key of a certain wallet there is something you can do to ensure that even if you forget you will still be able to access your wallet,mine is that I am currently using a metamask so its okay if I loss my key because all I need to remember is my password from it...

The best way to save your private key is to write it down your private key and store it in google drive or in your mail ID in code words only you can understand.

Of course they cannot do anything if they forgot their private key and you know private key is not a thing to be remembered, it should be stored somewhere. Our wallet is our responsibility to take care of. If the key gone, then the balance will remain there forever. |

my friend had it when he lost the key to his wallet! he was very upset! It is a great pity that you can not restore your key and password! but on the other hand it's very good, because the wallet is in maximum safety!

I think if someone forgot the key to their bitcoin wallet it will be their biggest regret in their life because key is the only one we need to open it. I think you can not retrieve it because it is your fault and not by others. |

Print your private keys to any form of paper that you can keep for safety. Don't trust your memory even you are the champion in memory verse challenges, it isn't enough to keep your funds. You can also create a file on a notepad and save it to a flash drive and don't use that drive to any computer that you don't own. Don't use it to public places. Are there any alternatives to retrieve the key back ?
If you lost it, that's lost forever. You should have your back phrase in case you forgot your private key or password. You can also print your private key in any kind of paper than saving it in your notes. Just create a file where you can put all your password and private. Lastly, you should keep that file in a safe place so that you can avoid it from hackers. |

Thats the reason before creating such account, you were warned not to loose access to your private key, having no access again or forgetting your key means the coins you are holding is gone for life.

If you forget your private key there is no other way to recover it. But if it's a password and if it's a 3rd party wallet the only way is to click on the forgot password and it will follow your email so you can get another password again. We should be careful about storing our private keys because once we accidentally delete it or someone else will know that they can have access to our wallets |

There is one secret tool not to lose your Keys which is called BACKUP. Not many people use this tool today, spoiled as they are by Google & C which allow you to recover your accounts of which you have lost your passwords. But it is sufficient to make a REDUNDANT backup and you will be safe. |
