From my own understanding I think if someone forget the key to their Bitcoin wallet then their money will be of no use because they will not be able to access their wallet again. I remember, when I forgot the login details to my bitcoin wallet, my $100 in d said wallet was gone with it.

People should be aware how much important the key of a certain wallet there is something you can do to ensure that even if you forget you will still be able to access your wallet, mine is that I am currently using a metamask so its okay if I loss my key because all I need to remember is my password from it.

As long as i know, there's no way to retrieve the key back, so once we lost and forget it, then it may be gone forever.
For me, i save the private key in many safe places, usually i put all of my password or important thing in one place because i forget easily, but kinda risky since if i lost it, i lost all.

Yes, if you forget it, you can never retrieve it. I suggest that write your pin on some places and not just memorize it, for you to not forget it. But be careful on where you put it because if someone that have knowledge to use it, then your investments might steal by that person.

Actually  i have kept my private keys in written form in my personal diary and its the safest way to keep your private keys. Saving in Computer or laptop is risky because if it gets damaged you will lose all documents. So best if to keep your private keys in written form.It is the best idea to me. :

No method is fool proof, in your case you have the advantage that it is impossible for a hacker to get your keys since you have them in written form, but there are several weakness with that method, for example you could make a mistake when copying your private key in that case you will lose all your money, if there is a fire or some kind of natural disaster you could lose your private key and finally a thief could get your documents and steal your bitcoin as a result of that.
