Do you have previous experience in providing ICO?
How much money do you want to raise?

Mintcoin is a cryptocurrency existing for years and never asked or is asking for money. ICOs are mostly just scams you better buy some MINTs instead.  Wink

I am a MINT holder... but actually, I never really paid attention....

From the recent posts I just saw, I should really change my mind around that project
and start beeing up to date... or even see how much MINT I have to start staking..

What is a good amount of MINT to start with for staking?

I know it can be a silly question... but with the age of the network
and how many people are activelly participating in the staking
it is interesting to have a ruff idea.
If I need 1 millions to be interesting... I will forget about it LOL!

MINT is being sold for 0.00000001 BTC in cryptopia right now.
I was wondering if there is any reason that it went that much down or is it logical to buy at that price?

It is logical to buy low. But on the other side I never could predict, if it ever could rise again.

Technically, my wallet produces a very high load, but I have nearly nothing at stake. The devs have some issues to solve.

Absolutely! Work is ongoing in the background. I'm buying small amounts systematically.

It won't sync because it wont stop pumping in new rewards from the network long enough to do any syncing. Then any new coins get rejected as orphans because I'm not synced.

Solution:  Download the full blockchain or use the snapshot and make sure your chain is fully updated BEFORE you unlock your wallet for minting.

Also consolidate all of your coins into one transaction. I had so many mint coins minting at all time of day and night, until I sent all my coins to myself in one transaction. 20M. It's been a while and I'm going to do it again soon so my computer can get some rest..

How many threads does this coin need?

Sure looks like the original posted thread to thy, helped code the BB coding on the front page & left / right very long ago (amount of energy to run the app). Given all Mint thy had left to Linux Mint years ago, like many of the first altcoins & wonders {built} of the earth more to see more  Cool

I am really big fan of mint coin. Was one the first coin that I invested back in 2014 in and still believe in it. I still didn’t sell the coins that I owned back then. Why are we not doing anything to support or fix the coin problems if there are any? If the developer need support we can raise a donation fund and fix the problems. I can’t see it dying.

It a real shame to see this coin dying... assuming it is still alive. I'm still holding my stash but I would love to some some progress, a new wallet, new features, better PoS.

I wonder if there is still a dev team working on MINT?

Does need bit of a marketing boost , brand push - wallet has many good features as it is.

I believe the active dev moved over to PIVX to help out.

Twitter, Facebook have been quiet for a while.

I've given out a few million to people and causes back in 2014-15

still mininting on/off would be nice to move it onto a dedicated pi2 or 3 and dish out to people to mint

I have always thought that mintcoin would be/stay in the top 100 coins. I guess that holding your coins and minting new ones affects the market. There isn't as much movement because we are holding.

Very innovative coin with a great brand name.

Twitter, Facebook have been quiet for a while.

@MintcoinTeam and @MintyAllDay are fairly active Twitter accounts.  If you believe they are not active enough then I'd suggest you consider submitting potential tweets and marketing ideas.  Also consider starting your own mintcoin marketing social account and help us solve the marketing issues you see.

Why are we not doing anything to support or fix the coin problems if there are any? If the developer need support we can raise a donation fund and fix the problems.

Anyone can help!  Check it out:
