Tell me, what is the approximate speed in Mh/s I can get using RX580 based GPU? I'm not familiar with this mining algorithm.
I'm a green guy but based on what the community is saying, the SGMiner is doing 6Mh/s.
Thanks for the answer. I calculated the estimated cost of the mining and unfortunately found that mining this coin is not profitable at the moment. It is better to buy a coin on the crypto exchange. Mining ETH, sell it and buy XDNA. So more profitable.
I did look, and that's right. But there are advantages as the equipment is less heated than when mining eth.

Yes, this is a good factor, but for me it is not relevant. All GPU cards have 3 fans, reduced power consumption, and I also use forced airflow. I appreciate my farms)

What is the point of mining this coin if it is cheaper to buy on the exchanges? Maybe we don't know something?

Be careful! I spoke about this above. Decentralization is certainly beneficial for the project, but as long as there is no liquidity of the coin, the miners will not come to this project.

Nope, the correct URL is "https://xdna.io/" without www.
You might found a link with www at the start? Or you might tried to visit during an update, parts of the site are being worked almost every day, though usually a server restart is not required and you shouldn't get a 404 error.
Is it okay now?

Excuse me for clearing the quote waves first! Grin
Well... if you can mine something else and then buy XDNA, by all means do just that! That's how the market works and averages price and mining profitability.

If buying is a better option, then the price will go up after a while and buying won't be as easy, but mining will be more profitable.

XDNA is available for mining (0% fee) at https://mecrypto.club

Code:
-a hex -o stratum+tcp://mecrypto.club:4441 -u WALLET_ADDRESS -p c=XDNA

so you can do with every coin that is mined, not to produce and buy
but to get a coin, and then sell and make a profit-that's the meaning of mining

Usually when there is a new algorithm it is very profitable to mine. We will wait for the best conditions, and now we can only buy on the exchanges.

Hello there XDNA community.  Just saying hi and that I like this project.  I mined for just a few days to grab a few shared Masternode seats from Pickaxe.  Will consider mining more once my number 1 coin makes the switch to POS/MN here in just a couple weeks.  Watching project closely.

As a kind reminder, please remember to support us with your vote in the following listing,
https://shardax.com/listing

We have already stomped the competition but still... the bigger the number the better! Cool
Personally, I each vote for the XDNA project on this link! We have a good position there, it seems to me that we will win this vote!

POS/MN ?
it will happen many years later...

Yep, there are significant changes for both local wallets and MN installations.
The changelog and the source code can be found on our github, but I'll repost it here,
https://github.com/XDNA-Core/XDNA/releases/tag/v1.2.0.0
  • Fixed Masternode winners system issue
  • Fixed Masternode double payments issue
  • Fixed slow syncing speed issue

The 1st issue wasn't really an issue though, the MN rewards are just more consistent now, previously a MN might go half a day without rewards and then get 6 rewards in half an hour!
The 2nd one, I don't know about it, sorry.
The 3rd one is the most relevant for users, previously it'd take about 5 minutes to sync one day's transactions, now it's much faster.

How about the profitability of mining? Will there be changes in the complexity of the production unit and so far everything remains the same?

I have not yet seen such projects, it seems to me personally that this blockchain is quite interesting. I will follow the further development of it)
