How does the static reward work? I get 7 Troll per...what exactly...wallet address?

Spencer explained it to me, but it all went in one ear out the other, he will let you know once he wakes up.

As I understand it, your trolls randomly hatch little troll babies when you keep your wallet hot. Heat is important, they don't hatch when cold.

Just know swap,But coin in wallet,How can i do?

What is your question?

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Spence is probably busy on other projects. TrollCoin sPoS3 is based on this:

Consider making a donation to Spencer Lievens for his work on v2.0, he did not charge me a fee this time.

What are the staking sizes? Is there a max? Do I need to have multiple wallets?

1 hour min stake time after you get the blocks required (777) and then it is unlimited stake.

To avoid greedy honest nodes TrollCoin implements Proof of Stake from Blackcoin (PoSv2/PoSv3) with Split Stake and Static PoS Rewards of 7 TROLL.

The total reward depends on the number of UTXOs. In general, the more UTXOs one has the more reward one can get since the relative weight consumption is small. On the other hand, there is an upper limit which depends on the total balance and the converges to that limit is fast. So one doesn’t have to create unnecessary many UTXOs and overload the staking device. I’ve done the calculation and came up with a formula which tells how many UTXO one need to get arbitrarily close to the optimum (infinity many UTXOs case) given the balance weight.

The change is very good for those who support the blockchain through continuous staking and bad for exchanges with millions of coins who could previously receive rewards of 1000’s of TROLL and above for minutes of staking.

The staking reward will be time dependent. The more time you stake the higher the total reward. The expected reward will be will proportional to the total balance and the time of staking.

So if 7 is the max reward for staking, how many coins are required to get 7? Or what is optimal for an address?

The reward is 7.

It isn't the max.

The amount of rewards are based on your UTXO's and the length of time you stake for.

You can Google and find the Blackcoin whitepaper to read more on how PoSv2/Split Stake/Static PoS Rewards work.

No, you are just normal. I don't understand the intricacies of it all, but think of it as virtual mining

The amount of coins you have in your wallet is like how powerful your asic is

The amount of time you spend staking (keeping your wallet online & unlocked) is the same as how much time you spent mining with an asic

The total amount of coins in people's wallets that are simultaneously staking is equal to the network hash rate when mining.

So when you "solve a block" with staking, you get 7 trolls

The static reward is kind of confusing. I feel like I should create as many UTXO's as possible to maximize returns, but PoSv3 and SLievensDRKSLK imply otherwise, but I still don't quite understand how/why.

I think I'm getting it confused when another coin I had went early pos, there was a max stake per I'd. So example would be like:
100k trolls = 3 reward
500k=15
1mil (max) = 50
Therefore, if you had more than 1mil, you send them to different id:'s to get more rewards. From the sound of it, pos2/3 fixed that?

The longer you stake the more your wallet split stakes and creates UTXO's and thus the longer you stake the more the reward.

Yes. Sadly Blackcoin haven't written a whitepaper for the new PoSv3 and Split Stake.

yeah, all is as it should, once i get home I'll turn on my miners & eventually the blocks will flow, trollcoin has been stuck for ~6 hours. they'll be there tomorrow.

this is why we just launched trollcoin 2.0 with the chain swap, because the old trollcoin is unreliable & blocks get stuck like a cocaine addict in colombia
