It's been slow here, looking forward to a prosperous 2017 though!

Good start to the year with a pretender Trollcoin posting an ANNUSMENT at Bitcointalk! It's a token on IDNI Agoras (whatever that is) and there were 3 transactions before the coin died forever.

I've been out of the game for like 2 years, I saved my trollcoin wallet but when i copy the wallet.dat over from my backup i get this error: https://puu.sh/tEz4t/34d3ae31f4.png

Warning: error reading wallet.dat! All keys read correctly, but transaction data or address book entries might be missing or incorrect.

Does this have to do with not keeping it up to date over the year(s). I remember right before i stopped doing anything with it there was some wallet update/fork and it was said to be mandatory to do before such n such a time. Am i screwed here?

Thanks for helping a noob out. I should have kept up to date Smiley

I am sorry to inform you that your coins now sit untouchable in the wallet of salty regret.
Our original TrollCoin code by the anonymous developer who disappeared a few months after launch turned out to be such a mess we had no choice but to create a new coin/blockchain.

Technically, your coins are part of the bleutrade swap wallet unclaimed balance that has long since been destroyed. You can see it here:
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/troll/#!rich
It is the wallet labeled Bleutrade Swap Burn

Polo's not gonna add TROLL unless they have like 15-20% of all coins. Source... my tinfoil hat

Bittrex is probably out until TROLL does hefty volume somewhere else

I do like the way the suppression is coming to a head on Bleutrade...

Was Trollcoin ever on Cryptopia and then got delisted or something? Seems to me that might be the best place. After PASC broke big on that exchange there's a lot more daily volume and interest, big traders seeking out the best new coins, etc. Lots of opportunity.

I know coins that are added without any "pay up" but they had to convince Polo to take them either by means of high volume trade possibility so Polo gets their money, or unique idea or something that may lead back to high volume trade ;_;

TrollCoin v1 was on cryptopia, i used their voting tokens to get it in, but they got on a fork during the bluetrade swap period, ppl who had coins there got pissed, i got pissed, cryptopia got pissed and once TROLL v2 rolled out, they did not want to list it automatically. i should not have taken an accusatory tone, never burn a bridge, even it you are in the right, or think you are.

Yobit would be the perfect exchange for Trollcoin.  On a number of altcoins, it is second only to Poloniex in trading volume (e.g. coinmarketcap list).

Yobit is like a party every day of pumps and dumps, with interest as much determined by a coin's name as anything else.  Unlike Trollcoin, Putin Coin has no particular technical features existent or planned (and a long-vanished developer), but nevertheless Yobit denizens put countless bitcoins into it because they liked the name.

The local trolls would appreciate a coin called Trollcoin.
