The bonus blocks is to give ppl jumping on after the update to not feel like they're coming in too late. But I posted it to get your opinions, so point taken. Thx!
I get that, but I'm going to give my opinion, as how I see it, because maybe it will help.
1. I've been mining it and all through the lesser blocks, getting less and less as it goes, raising the rewards for new arrivals means they get to come in and mine just as much as I spent all my time on, in a shorter amount of time? If that's the case I wouldn't have mined then, I'd have waited till now.
2. I've seen some other coins do similar things, what happened every time is when bonus coins came in to player, extra people mined and ended up forcing all the miners to actually get less than normal, even though it's bonus coins, because either
a. Someone is a troll and doesn't want people getting extra coins.
or
b. People can't count so they mine on bonus coins thinking they get more, but so many people do it, it would have been more effective to mine on a normal day.
3. Without a big following on this coin, raising the block reward is just going to give the current people mining extra coin. Raising reward isn't going to bring new miners unless there's something worth while, like, if we were rank 1-3 in voting for Mintpal, because we're still not on an exchange. (Yeah, I know, C-Cex, and some other third named sites, but personally I don't trust them so I don't use them, Mintpal would mean a lot more to people I think (My opinion))
