I am not completely able to understand what you are trying to say but yes volatility is a major factor that affect these prediction contest and suppose you submitted a entry for $23k and the next moment a FUD or any negative news could hit the market plunging the prices to say $20k so now your prediction become wrong so we all know this and it's game of speculation only.

I just noticed bitcasino.io doesn’t accept Lightning Network transactions as a way to deposit funds.
Does anyone know why this feature is missing? Are they going to implement it?
I must say that I noticed that also on other casinios, maybe there is a specific reason for this.

There might be two reasons for this :

1. Extra maintenance & effort : They will have to run a Lightning Network Node and have someone with knowledge maintaining it 24/7

2. Demand : There must be a big demand for it, before they will even consider it. Why should they implement something, if nobody is going to use it.
