Looks like they stolen massive 50-100k BTC from you guys. Its enought to 1) Change face 2) Buy passport and identify one of 1XX country who provide this service(in Asia, Africa, South America etc) 3) Buy island, some nice cars like Lambo 4) Never, i mean realy never work, or using net or whatever.
Welcome to ass.
Thanks, in honor of the greatest accomplishment I have made in my life I have decided to name my first son Kenneth who helped me on my road to riches. It was a short road and exciting , we also made sure no Estonian or Norwegian users were using our exchange and it has payed off in kind. No one is going to spend more money then they lost trying to track us down. It is with much regret that I found the temptation to transfer off all the bitcoins from the cold wallets to various exchanges to trade the bitcoins into USD, although you can imagine my disappointment with the current bitcoin price --> Fuck Mark Karpeles, honestly fuck him! Now I know how you guys must feel, it sucks but I will have to console myself in forfeiting a couple sports cars... who needs a Aston Martin. I will still be returning some of the alt coins when I get a moment in my busy schedule, honestly some of the alts like RDD you will have to pay me to keep them. Oh wait you already did. ha ha ha Dear Kenneth Koster, i don't care if you are a troll or the real Koster let me tell you it this way, if you are still reading the post's on this thread. I still watch you and i can ensure you that i know that you have no idea to handle that much money, you should know that there is only some place's you could hide from any of us is in Mongolia or dark hole in Afrika. Bitcoin Community is international and i'm glad to say that my friends will be in contact with you very soon in a kind way of course....
Its just a matter of time until they have the tracks of you and it will get very ugly for you thats for sure. Keep following your desires and leave us your footprints the faster we will see you. I'm not after my bitcoin's if you think you can buy off this away so easy, no... i just want to teach you not to fuck with the real guys.lol, I have been getting threats 2 days after I froze the exchange and nothing has been done. The Estonian police is a waste of time, 99% of them can be bribed as they don't earn much and I have plenty to give. You are wasting your words here. Nothing is going to happen to me or it would of already. Just be happy you getting some alts back, I am keeping the bitcoins as payment for myself and Kenneth in 2 different Wallets, I think we deserve it for all the work we had to put in and all the stress from the Karma/btc exploits that caused us headaches.

You see No problems... no one going to do anything about it. Was like taking candy from a bunch of babies. Please just let this die and don't trust other exchanges. Let this be a lesson to all of you that I have taught.

So has anyone, even one single person, actually done ANYTHING like calling the relevant authorities and/or reporting fraud or has this all just been a massive exercise in e-penis size comparison?

So has anyone, even one single person, actually done ANYTHING like calling the relevant authorities and/or reporting fraud or has this all just been a massive exercise in e-penis size comparison?
AFAIK, I'm the only one who's done anything so far (I MAY BE WRONG), little though it is. I sent a description of the problem and issues and a and link to this forum to ALL the reporters/admins at cryptocointalk.com and coinbase.com . No interest. I guess they either feel it isn't of large enough importance or that they don't want to roil the bitcoin waters any more and jeopardize the delicate coin environment. Or, it may be that they just didn't read my email at all. I think there's enough information to go to reporters/newspapers in their locations in Norway and Estonia. I think that's easier than going to police, though I think that that is a necessary route, also. I've just arrived in Thailand from the States and I'm tired and off-hours to Euro. I think somebody Euro based should email/call the local news in Oslo and wherever in Estonia. Police also. I'm not out anything, since my account was a collection of small coins (about 4 BTC worth), but I got them out, since they weren't holding back my specific coins. I'm only concerned with this on the macro level, hoping these scams being punished will help solidify the alt-coin world, keeping my mining rigs worth something, anything. Let's go Euro-people!

The police will still think we're just complaining that someone stole our secret sword in some abstract WoW world. There is no crime here. There never was. The fact is: if BTC is the same as fiat currency, then we have a case. If it is not, and it is a revolutionary way of holding value and wealth, then the established means of law enforcement is USELESS. Learn your lesson. That is all. -d

If it is not, and it is a revolutionary way of holding value and wealth, then the established means of law enforcement is USELESS. Learn your lesson. That is all. -d Not sure you're right, but you probably are, regarding "established means of...", and for sure it's a reasonable start to a discussion. That uncertainty is why I pushed the newspaper/press route, rather than the police. There are so many intricacies in this "alt-world". Now, the IRS (US tax guys) just decided that in their eyes, BTC are not currency, but taxable property. But, given that this exchange is hosted outside the US, run by PERHAPS a Norwegian and/or Estonian, the IRS's take doesn't really matter. The jurisdiction question is way out there on this one, so we agree that if the police were involved, we're looking at unlikely precedent-setting occurrences here. Newspaper/press notoriety deal is more along the lines of societal/tribal punitive action that might be the only viable means of market regulation, given no government/regulatory hammer. The only place that we disagree is that I believe there IS a crime here. I think you believe there's a crime also, just not one that can be proven in the context of the overlapping jurisdictions and lack of clear rules for an unregulated, intangible commodity. That being said, precedents are set often, and this is a situation that should merit one, but I think we both know it's not happening. Thus, the media route is the only solution, if one exists.

Well, has anyone tried this yet? I didn't lose anything on CoinMarket; I got my btc off as soon as things started to go south fortunately. I think it would have more impact if someone who has actually lost money initiated the contact - with press or authorities or w/e.
