depends on the project, should be assessed on a case by case basis, you have to do your research some projects you see that will not have a long future and then you try to gain in the short term, instead others have good odds of success and then you make a strategy of long term hold

Many projects die because they can not stand competition. There are those that have not been able to show their potential to investors , as developers do not always want to spend money on the development of the project.

Yes. There is. We personally can't understand it yet, maybe we even keep such projects in our portfolios. But what can we do about it?

Nothing you can do mate.
Most projects will vanish but most technical files remain for the next coin.

There always been many scam developers trying to sell presale or abandon coin when they have good profits, they make new project to scam further. We should only stick to the top coins.

Currently on the coinmarketcap site only about 1590 projects compared to at times more than 1700 projects. They have left many projects without developers or scam projects. I personally invested in some of these projects and lost a lot of money like bitconect and centra. Do you trust the projects you are investing in and will keep them for a long time until they succeed or are they just looking for profit in the short term?
I am less interested in projects that have no certainty, and I suggest that if you want to invest, choose a coin with the top 10, because that is guaranteed.

I think so. Many projects simply do not show results, some have a long period of time can not give updates and so on. How to check this?

Projects are also having difficulties to succeed at times like this where market downtrend is continuous. The projects are highly affected by this problem which I think is a factor for people to leave a project in the air because they are losing hope that even if it would succeed, nothing will happen, and it would instantly go down upon the release in the market.

Now you need to carefully study the projects. Over time, many projects have already become extinct. It is very difficult to determine a good project

Yes, many projects are dead, or simply do not cope with the competition and die with time. It's a shame, when dead project, on which I had hoped, but that do about it. This is a normal situation, not everyone will succeed.

There are lots of dead projects and many will still join them. I have so many of them in one of my wallets. I used to be a fans to airdrop, just few numbers of them tend to succeed, which i can count. I could remember the likes of twist and enu which are very much still alive, but most other just come in a flash and fade away. Some of them now have near to no value (zero). Well, it's good we stilll have some good projects in the space.

Projects are not that dead, they do not show signs of life. You know, they raised money from people, but they don't show the product. The only project that shows signs of life is Kamagames, there is at least some news.

I have a lot of useless coins due to airdrop. It's been one year in my wallet and it doesn't show any sign of improvement. They still don't have value. I also have invested in an ICO project last year. And until now, it's price didn't increase. It doesn't show any improvement too. And it's so depressing.  Anyway, I could really say that there are just project that is good at first, but will just fade away in the long run.

Now the cryptocurrency market is really not in the best position. But this is not a reason to bury projects that simply could not get out in such a difficult economic situation. I hope that soon the crisis in the cryptocurrency world will end.

Looks at announcement broad at bitcointalk, you will see threads show inactive or completely dead. I dare say, 70% of new coins are dead in less than a years.

I believe in the project I invested. Otherwise, I will not invest. But yes, there are many stillbirths. You must be careful when choosing projects.

What can I say about this? Statistics are certainly disappointing, but its representativeness is open to doubt. All these agencies are quite selling, as we showed in 2008.

The projects not dead, just we see no result and it starts to scare you. Why don't they follow the road map? I personally don't understand that.

It's really a horrible situation to realize that many projects have already died, but in general it is not, of course there are projects that do not work anymore, but we draw such conclusions, because we simply do not have time to follow all the news, I think that this is not true .
