It's very hard to get out of scams. People who have proper knowledge and who do regular research, may understand scams. However, I saw someone invented an application software to eradicate scams from crypto society. You can search it on google. I hope it works.

You can't really put an end to fraud. Now a cheater can wrap a project into a real project. All kinds of information are true. But you can't recognize it. For now, you need to evaluate and study a project yourself. Find the association from the specific details of the project. Then decide whether the project is true and reliable.

There is no way to 100 percent guarantee that you will not run into scams, but you can reduce this risk and carefully study the team and the project itself. Then perhaps you will be lucky

There is an answer to every question. There is a solution to every problem. It only takes time to discover the answer or solution. There are several scams that have been busted at an early stage of the campaigns. I think, there is no dedicated team set up for the screening of ICOs. The campaign managers who ought to be the ones taking the lead are not doing so, though there are managers who have put up structures that reduced scams in their platform.

One way I know could help is escrow. I think Bountyhive is using an escrow system to screen the campaigns they handle.

Difficult to guarantee not to get scam. Various ways of deception arise and become the shadows that haunt the asset owner. What we need to do is always be careful in making decisions and never give a private key to something that is not clear and irresponsible.

It is difficult to determine ICO scams because, scammers are now professionals.

All the discussion and information about to protect and get rid of scam projects, All this has been done by professional scammers.

So if we choose legit projects, it is also a good consultation with professionals who review legit ICO projects to protect us from scams. It's just a matter of paying, but we're definitely safe investing.

The best way to avoid getting scammed in this vast cryptocurrency market is research in my opinion. Many people lazily don't do proper research before investing into a particular ICO and end up getting scammed and blame the market itself for all their troubles which shows their immaturity. You need to focus on doing your research(Analyzing the whitepaper, checking the development team background, social media interactions by development team etc) before deciding to invest into a particular ICO. Always do your research and be prepared to lose your money in this volatile market.

Yeah, that was I bolded above is a better way to determine which ICO's are good. Only professionals can smell if that project is smell like fishy and I'm sure that project is a scam. Like choosing a good and professional expert manager that who manage the ICO for the whole project they know much better than us because of many projects they handled.
Searching, reading and studying that's the major part that we something to do to know further in the project.

We can not protect ourselves completely from scammers. But at least, we can avoid a part. You should not listen to any invitation when you do not understand it. And DON'T invest all your capital in something!

Scammers are counterfeit i think if we adopt the same measures we use to differentiate a counterfeit money we shall eliminate all scammers by carefully studying the characteristics of scarm ICOs and avoid falling into their pitfall, above all reading white paper is sacrosanct.

That's right, most of the Investors these days are diligent to deal with ICO's and other investments schemes, the majority are pretty hard to fool from such cheap tricks and tactics to get their money, that's why scammers are professional to adapt to this kind of situations making their Initial coins offering and their project innocent and legit, I saw some of them are constantly updating the community with their pictures and articles about the product but it turns out to be a scam, not paying the bounty manager, community managers and Investors.

It is very easy to protect yourself from scam
Avoid icos with very large bonus scheme,  Always read through every website, every project, every whitepaper correctly to ensure that the project has real purpose.
Do not click strange links in your email addresses.

And always remember that only you can hurt yourself, when you input your private keys in the phishing site.

REMEMBER. ONLY YOU CAN COMPROMISE YOUR PRIVACY.

Scammers have always existed and I think that you can not effectively deal with them. They are constantly coming up with new ways of cheating if you find effective ways to protect against earlier ways. There are always predators in the forest, but that doesn't mean there's no life for other animals in the forest. People are no different from animals.

There are no two ways to this, except through accurate research into every project we want to invest in. The crypto space is full of scam projects. If only we can perfectly know the full intent of every developer, it would have been good. We need to be careful before investing into any ICO. Nonetheless, there are real and good projects.

Do you seriously believe that you have personal data? Lol. Remember all the places where you were required to provide personal data. They are stored on a computer that employees have access to. Who can guarantee you that some employee will not sell your data to anyone. The situation is the same in the state registers.

The only way im aware of is to protect yourself.
You are the only one that can compromise your account, you are the only one that can get yourself hacked
So avoid phishing links
avoid cheap offers
avoid pasting your private keys from clipboards and stay safe..

Finally, never run after green candles and invest based on your decision.
