All you have to do is not to trust easily and verify the project by yourself. A good research will help you determine wether a project is good or not, reviews will also a good help since this is response from the community. Don't trust, verify! Same goes when you are storing your funds, don't put it in a wallet which gives you no full control like exchanges and closed source software. Electrum, Hodler and myetherwallet are one of the open source software that you could verify your funds.
We should always not trust but double verify. Because in crypto there are much more scammers than in any other business domain. Doing our own research may save us from bankruptcy.

only one thing is needed to avoid scams and not foolish. we need to be careful and to be examined in the project or ico. because if we just go into these things we will be able to work well in every step.

Where there is a place to make money there will certainly be perpetrators of fraud. And what happened in Crypto is certainly a lot of fraudsters because I read a lot on this forum many topics that discuss fraud. And how to prevent fraud if I do research. Do everything by praying and being careful and don't trust others.

Well, in order to learn this you need to spend a very large amount of time and money. sometimes you even need to lose some money

We can protect ourselves from scams if we make the proper preparation and we exert more attention on small details. We have to be more observant and we have to analyze the offer or project first before we make any decision. Expect that there will always be someone who wants to scam so be extra careful on making a decision.

The crypto world is so vast and they are interest from all continents of the world. Some investors / projects came with good intentions to make the world a better place while some to defraud investors and projects founder. Can we have a better way correct scam and lapses?

i think we have to double care or triple care about our money, wallet, etc. Be wise on choosing ICO's, or tokens because if the project is scam that's so cruel but if it's get failed that's okay you can get your refund. So be wise and smart!

You should check if it is legit or not by doing some checking like proof or something and don't give all your trust to someone or something especially when you don't know them personally. People on the internet don't really care whether they victimized innocent people just to get some money, so be vigilant all the time.

The best way to protect oneself is not to invest in all projects that are cool at first glance, because now the cryptocurrency market and ico projects are very popular for investing to people who have $ 100 in their pockets and do not understand anything about it  Cheesy

I believe that it is possible to protect projects from fraud by making a detailed analysis of the participants and assessing and reducing the danger. Fraudsters are creative in our time. Therefore, in order to choose a legal project, we need the recommendation of experts who investigate the possible risk.

I think that this cannot be stopped, and even if it turns out to be done with this, another method of fraud will replace it!

To protect yourself from the scammer you must avoid providing information about your account you do not know especially when you only recognize social media because it is often the scammer.

No one is immune from scam. Now even legitimate projects that have collected investments and have not filed any suspicion refuse to pay and stop communicating. For example, jinbi token. The only way out which I see is to be attentive and study all team members before entering the project.

This year we have learned a lot from the market. I will never again invest in a project at the ICO stage. Lost a lot of money. At the moment my portfolio consists mainly of top coins. I don't want to risk anymore. But each has its own strategy. To be ready for experiments, you need to be ready for losses.

All that we can do is to choose a good project in which good developers. The rest is already the team's actions. But from the scam project no one is protected. They fill the space more and more.

With such a huge bear market happening in crypto, even well-intended projects get abandoned or never get off the ground.

The best way to watch for scams is to stay on the investing sidelines while simultaneously doing the requisite research on all aspects of the project.  Even for projects that will end up making it all the way, in the early stages the coins and tokens are always cheap relative to the future.

Joining a bounty and becoming active in chat groups is another way to get a good feel for the project.  There are some projects that seem obvious they will succeed.  The vast majority not.  Working for them gives you a chance to learn their priorities, how seriously they take customer service, how quickly they solve individual's issues, how much spirit they show, and other things like that.  Only the best scammers go to to extreme lengths to fool people, but fortunately for us, there are that many pro scamming teams out there.  Most of them are bad actors and give themselves away over time.

One other thing to keep in mind is the insane valuations projects place on their coins/tokens before they even hit the market - pure unadulterated fantasy.  Making numbers out of thin air is one thing they all seem to be good at.  With that in mind, if over time you do decide to invest, once the coins/tokens hit an exchange, 9 times out of 10, they will go down in value and become very affordable for the astute investor.

Best of luck to everyone on this blog.

Check the telegram community and the fundraising goals. If an ICO is aiming to reach more than 20 million USD, there should be at least 10k members in their telegram group, because no ICO is able to collect such a sum without a big community.

To be honest, I always try to pay attention to the number of subscribers in the company's official Telegram ico group, as well as the amount of funds raised from investors. This is how I determine the promise of an ico company. But today, fraudsters have learned how to cheat in this regard.

To protect yourself from the scammer you must avoid providing information about your account you do not know especially when you only recognize social media because it is often the scammer.

To avoid fraudulent projects, you must carefully study the project where you want to participate.
Do not rush, study in detail and thoroughly. Depends on this you get income or loss.
Personal data is also not in a hurry to send each project.
