Scamers are very smart people and to avoid them we have to be very smart too because they are set of people that are working round the clock to outsmart people and defraud them of their hard earned altcoin and assets, so when dealing we have to be very careful and make sure we ask question when things aren't clear to us so as not to fall victim.

Everyone is and should work towards protecting themselves from scam. You can be too sure if anyone will be doing it for you in all sincerity, so you gave to devote your time and effort to do some research that will give you confidence over the project.
When you are not sure of the authenticity of a project, do not bother to move close to it.

In fact, there are not many options, but they are, if we are talking about security of your assets, then you should always check the sites where you go and the degree of protection of this site, also if it is a cache, then you should never tell anyone your private the key and basically that's all

First of all, you need to be very careful so that your personal information and secret keys and passwords do not fall into the wrong hands. To date, we are participating in the company Bounty ethereum Classic Vision and a little more time is left before we see the pollinosis of this project.

The crypto world is so vast and they are interest from all continents of the world. Some investors / projects came with good intentions to make the world a better place while some to defraud investors and projects founder. Can we have a better way correct scam and lapses?

Due diligence will avoid us from scam coins and tokens.
It will be good if we doing our own research about the project before we want to invest on the project.
Without proper research, we will have more chance to getting scammed and lose our money later.

Try to learn a lot of information about the project before taking part in it. I mean research this forum, rating websites, third party agencies and so on. And then start researching info about the project from its website, whitepaper, social media.

The most important thing you should know is that all investments have risks. There is no investor who can be safe from risk, but if you want to ask how to protect from a scam? The answer is that you must see the project / ICO from all aspects such as: Team, Roadmap, WhitePaper, Community Assessment, etc.

It should be clearly understood that the most reliable information about the ICO project can be obtained only if you check everything yourself, otherwise false data about the project can be slipped

There are too many scam projects these days, but with well research about the pojects,r it can help you detect scam projects, although here are many projects that seems good but at the end they turned scam.
Actually they are scam, but they have a perfect cover and make us fooled. 95% of ICO is scam since 2017. You can see in coinmarket when there are thousands of altcoin in 2018 scam
indeed, we are looking for a needle on the bottom of the ocean, to find the right project, we have to trace it to the bottom sometimes the results are far from what we expected. hopefully 2019 can change for the better

There is no way we can be totally immune we scam, but I think ICOs scam can be reduced is there is a regulation in place to protect investors and projects should not launch an ICO if they don't have a good working prototype to show the genuine purpose of the project.

Avoid depositing funds for those "extra" tokens during their ICO. Although we might have submitted our KYC documents because we had to do the same for exchanges and airdrops, at least we don't part with our money.

One ICO that went poof was Superbloom. And that time it was offering extra SEED tokens if members were to deposit ETH.

Even if we have a way to prevent scam, still scammers would find a new way to victim us. I think the best way now is to not thrust anyone immediately, especially for the transactions that involves payment, scammers are so smart in that way.

In order to invest in a project, first you need to thoroughly analyze it. If you are not sure about the project or the team, it’s better not to invest in such a project.

Deception will always be there where there is an opportunity for fraudsters to be able to make a lot of money through their activities. Likewise what happens in the world of crypto. For that we should be able to understand well about a project and understand well about the crypto world, so that we can know which ones will give us benefits and which ones are fraudulent. Besides that we also have to join a lot of those who have been involved in the crypto world and know well about a project, so that we can ask them as reference material so that we can avoid fraud.

Imagine how much less scam projects would be if every bounty hunter and investor could calculate them with ease. Or if we had a serious service for calculating scams in a matter of seconds.

This is an excellent question, the answer is simple, and the answer is in the forum. In fact, you can learn a lot of knowledge in the forum, which is beyond the control of others. There are many famous people here.

It's very hard to get out of scams. People who have proper knowledge and who do regular research, may understand scams. However, I saw someone invented an application software to eradicate scams from crypto society. You can search it on google. I hope it works.

This is really interesting but I don't think it can totally identify a scam or frauds. Well, there are ways to identify some aspect of a scam project but not all are detectable by technology. What we can do is to be very careful on choosing a project. Make necessary background check and profiling.

The best way to protect us from fraud I suggest that everyone learn a lot about the projects and strategies as well as the reputation of participating teams and ICOS index information. After that, we can determine the safety of the campaign but can only be limited because it is very difficult to prevent 100% fraud.

I think these responsibilities should fall on the ICO developers. We need a project based on blockchain and smart contacts. To be able to invest in ICO without fear. Also, on mandatory terms, there should be a KYC for the team of any project.
