For them getting lucky on a coin will be worth it. For them, it's like lottery, but personally I do not think the investment that I call it is gambling. They are betting on some low potential currencies. I think before you invest in anything should study and learn it. Check that this currency has real potential.

What you are experiencing is almost true to all. Many are not scams but will behave like one. This is happening because there are to many ICO and each project doesn't even show much of the usability. So as a result many will just go on dumping with their coins because it is not moving. No usage or utility means no increase in demand and therefore dumping results.

They will learn when they fall for these scams and lose their money. They will either quit it all together or be stronger and make sure they don't make the same mistakes all over again. There seems to be a lot of scam projects so it's also hard to be aware of all them. In my opinion its because they still hoping for it, seeing it as an easy to earn tokens without any hardwork. Well, for me people is not patronizing these scamming project but they are lack of knowledge about that project and their team. Its just some people are eager to earn fast money and they do not mind to think the consequences of it. Always be careful to the campaign you want to participate because the scam project is spreading nowadays.

Probably people will learn until their efforts are already exhausted. Scammers grabbed the opportunity of the crypto craze. Some people are too eager to earn with a less knowledge about the team and the project. Skipping this process would result in checking the credibility of the project.

 

Because, the credibility of a project's one of the important components which's at the same time the spearhead of the success of a project in gaining trust in the eyes of the public.

Everyone has their own reason. Some are still just newbies that are so dumband knows nothing, they just go straight and invest on whatever they see without carrying out some proper research.

Another set of people are those who thinks they are too smart and since the token is still new they can just pump it and dump it immediately, leaving it for those that are coming in newly a) to get trapped in it and lose their money. Others can be those who thinks that it’s going to really work out, but at the end it never does.

Learning and having an awareness regarding that of the crypto currencies or any other thing are two different things. One can learn anything by spending enough of the time in knowing more about that particular thing but he has to work really harder so that he can excel in that field. People are getting to know more about the crypto currencies and that soon they will also start learning more about them.

Learning is a continuous and never-ending process and that it takes years and years to learn about anything. When it comes to that of having some knowledge about the crypto currencies, then this depends on the time which you have spent in the crypto market. There are not enough people who knows about these crypto currencies much for now but there are so many people who are showing a keen interest in learning and investing in the crypto currencies.

Because anything that is "free" affects the brain of the masses very much. Everyone wants free stuff and will do just about anything for it (as long as it's easy). Just like when you see the word "SALE" or "DISCOUNT".

They try their luck in airdrop if you are lucky then you will receive huge amount of money then if it is not then you will loose it very simple you must need to take a risk for it, in life you must be a risk taker for you to understand on how life must going, don't look in the promises just go with the flow i'm sure you will have profit on it.

I think not all people understand how some token work.
Personally I try to choose the local project because I can understand their background more fluently, unlike foreign project.
But who know if one day another Stellar project occur !

You are right. Not everyone understands how tokens work. And they also don't understand how to sell tokens. My advice should they read and understand. So they are not wrong in choosing the project they run.

Because they turn their brains off, logic off, when they start to dream of good opportunity that pays off. Most people do this for all sorts of things.

many people in cryptocurrency is a believer that they could rich just in a one night, this a bad habit and created fomo and something like that. Yeah people should learn about the project before investing in ico, just use the logic to judge whether the ico is good or not and dont ever think an airdrop that you get could make you rich. In the end you need a capital to invest and the more you invest the more risk you got and more profit you could got. I believe this is the principel of investing

When a lot of ICO is very difficult not to make a mistake.Your figure of 98% seems overstated to me.When choosing an investment, you need to at least look at the rating estimates put up by the project to conduct the ICO

there are still many people who think to get quick profits. not thinking about the impact of an investor. don't see the bonus given, look at their roadmap. and their team. wrong funding on ico will make them rich. and you are the one who is harmed. maybe people will learn when they feel the consequences. if not, probably will never learn.

I think no one of us wants to be a victimized buy a scammed that could led us to lost our money. But there are some reason behined why their are still people patronizing scammed project it's because they have lacked of knowledges about how to select legit ICO. They have no idea if that ICO is a scammed or legits. That why they need to study first about the before choosing the ICO program.
