yes it is common in the beginning I know crypto amid a lot of scam and airdrop projects and I also experienced like that, following the airdrop without thinking and had become a scam project investor, all started from experience and how to learn quickly by facing a big problem then the more we get up and learn more deeply, I think a lot of people follow the airdrop project is a normal thing even though there is hope for a get rich quick way or a way to learn with experience, every chance all must have benefits depending on the wisdom of each person, hopefully useful and successful for all of us

 We can not expect people to learn the crypto the way you expect, remember that we have a growing number of crypto Enthusiast globally, we have different interest, life exposure on crypto, some are just newbie here but acting as if they are expert, when the encountered problem on investment, they blamed everyone for his failure.

I think not all people understand how some token work.
Personally I try to choose the local project because I can understand their background more fluently, unlike foreign project.

These fake buyers have been using facebook to attract people new in the technology by promising 100% return upon investment and have earned huge money. But the advertisements were blocked by Google and Facebook and the scams were greatly reduced.

Besides, one should be educated and rational enough to use the genuine and official websites and get information as how to invest in crypto and which coins should be chosen.

Probably people will learn until their efforts are already exhausted. Scammers grabbed the opportunity of the crypto craze. Some people are too eager to earn with a less knowledge about the team and the project. Skipping this process would result in checking the credibility of the project.

We may felt bad for this scam ICOs but there is study that people are gaining profit through investing in ICOs. Yes, they may encounter scam ICO but it can be offset by the profit they gain from legit ones. I hope you get what i mean.

Will in this situation,everyday in our life is still process of learning, especially in the way of investment cryptocurrency people or investor still occur mistake and commit a scamming project,because we could not identify properly of whats is legit or fraud campaign project now,because everything we can see,we thinks its not a scam and only we could identify,thats those project is fake when in the end of the campaign period.

It is true that most of the campaigns or the projects right now cannot be identified as scam because the scammers are getting better and better in the present time and it kinda sucks because we cannot do anything to avoid the scams but just take the risk and put the best as we can during the project and hoping at the end that it is not a scam.

Some of these projects are not scams. And you can earn a decent profit from these ICO's. I guess the only to way to tell is by researching and studying their project. If the development team is decent they might just make it. Make sure you know the team and the project before supporting it.
