Man many coins are pumped and dumped all time.In some time that 3% premine at this price lvl won't have such influence since everybody can join and buy that Panda @3 satoshi discount or even @1 sometimes. In long run everybody can get their shares at little price.
Then everyone who will come here and will be talking about Wolog... fuck of that coin was @1-@10 satoshi for 2 months.
For 1BTC you could have even 100m of theese coins.
Everybody could buy it at 0 costs now when you missed train just cry.
This is risky i know.

See what happened to quark was worth shit for long time and at the end of story price went skyrocket.
Why some whales were buying it at low they had a plan they pumped it when they had big amount of shares at low price.
Everybody don't give a chance quark for a six months and when price skyrocket all says same bullshit about premine...
After reading some new i was crying to but when i got on their bitalk forum and i looked at prices on cryptsy and i relized what a lies are speard around.
I investigated it and it wasn't premined at all... but before six months none was interested in Quark coin,  it lied on ground yield to be picked up. After someone pumped it all they woke up and cryied premine...bla bla just but they just missed train and were jealous.Doge have similar distribution and none cares about it in 6months 88% of coins will be mined.
Panda is in good development IMO good wallet creative artwork.It can took some time but this coin have chance like others.

In other hand:
Ruby is starting with 2% premine and noone is calling shitstorm with premine... all want mine and +$ sell and $$ noone cares about premine.
Earthcoin(3%), Megacoin(5%) Ultracoin(2% and POS !!) was premined go their forum now and seek flame on premine now...
I don't think that was happened here was OK but this is not the end of the world i think this is not the end of PANDA too(i hope so).
That coin can die but many other coin can die too i am taking that risk any way all time i invested in something.
Those guys who risked buying BTC 4 years ago did the same.
I am interested in Panda and 20+ other coins i give all of them chance why not.

EAC had 2%. EAC was a December scam, it was possible back then to sell that 2% story for 750 000 usd.

It went down tenfold from its peak. No community atm, used only for occasional pumps.

To raise it's price from 8 to 50 sat, you'll need new money coming in. Many are suspicious of your motives and I'm not here to debate whether these suspicions are justified or not - simply to acknowledge that these suspicions exist, irrespective of whether they're valid or not.

Given that, and the events of the past few days, what specifically does this coin offer that sets it above from the other 500+ alt coins on the market at the moment?

I'm not looking for generic responses like "great community" (many coins have that) or "bright future" (every coin dev team says that).

Please tell us why we should take money out of Bitcoin or Vert or Doge or wherever we currently have it, to invest in Pandacoin?

I'm no fan of the coin, but seriously you won't get anywhere with that argument. I don't remember where it was, but somewhere (main web page, but gone now?) Wolong & Co. described Wolong's take and spinned as if it were a good thing. Wolong even bragged about what a crook he was. Wolong claimed his expertise as a crook was going to help him beat any other crooks that tried to manipulate the currency. Supposedly, Wolong was going to somehow use his take to stabilize the currency without selling any of it for 6 months. Yes, that makes no sense, but that was how they spun it. It was enough to sucker enough people in.

I give them this much credit: They were very creative when it came to making bad things sound good if you were gullible enough.

My personal opinion is this coin has a long future ahead, and forking is sort of admitting defeat.

wolong may have forsaken all, but it will take a lot to get me to change the logo. What is trust in krypto anyway? The logo sends a strong message, trust no one, only yourself.

Markets crash, but it's the community of this coin and the anti-community that will decide it's value. However now that wolong has left us all, I don't see the purpose of protesting him any longer.

Also don't forget the devs are still recovering from not only the launch, setting everything up, and now dealing with everyone crying and even more trolls all day long. I wish people would have some mercy with all the people that are helping to keep PANDA alive.

A positive post, yeah. But I don't really think Panda will recover. It's not been designed for long life with premine and dumping coins to the market. However I'm happy that i made some money with it when it just started and thanks God i exchanged all my coins before the prices went down, down... :-)

You should read the pools announcements, and this coin first post! Its an N factor Scrypt coin so you can not mine it with plain cgminer. You should use the modified cgminer or vertminer to mine this!!

People keep mining because they hope it will boost soon.   But it won't boost much or even won't boost at all, and this is why: market price depends on reputation of the coin and the expectations of investors. Panda's reputation is below the line now and investors now looking for other new coins, it's easier to make money with them rather than deal with risky coin with low expectations. Yes, the scam coin has a value too, but it's predictably low.
