investing in silver / gold actually has very little risk of experiencing losses, so many people decide to save their money in gold / silver. I think this reason is quite strong, because most people do not want to accept the risk of experiencing a loss.
Gold and Silver already known as investment for centuries. Old peoples will invest on something they can see and touch, beside that usualy most old people dont understand about internet or bitcoin or cryptocurrency |

Older people are wise people. The risk appetite is minimal, conservative views. And it is gold and silver that are suitable for such criteria. Bitcoin is a trend of the young, and in fact - a deception of a global scale. Bitcoin is an unreal asset, it is valuable as long as someone is ready to buy it.

because older people like to invest in Gold / Silver already know the price of coins in the trading market is declining, so that experienced people prefer to invest in gold, so they can get a fair profit.
When people started to invest their money, there was usually only gold or silver as a safe investment, Bitcoin did not exist yet. But i have noticed that people who have invested in gold or silver before are more open to Bitcoin. They see Bitcoin more often as a new investment opportunities than people who have never invested in anything. Many people who have never invested money in anything anyway are more likely to reject Bitcoin than investment opportunities. It seems that there are people how are willing to invest as long as it promises profit and people who will not invest in anything in their lives anyway.  |

They are don’t know about how investment at bitcoin, maybe many people before its like and most interested invest at gold and silver, they have only gold invetsment way to increase their money. lower knowledge and internet of bitcoin investment its why they like invest at gold or silver.

From ancient times to the present, even in the farther future, gold and silver have always played a major role in exchange and buying, and older people have always considered that gold and silver are always of lasting value, no risk, and always stable.
In my opinion, this is a universal monetary vehicle where you can exchange it directly into cash in a very expensive exchange rate. We also see Gold and Silver as precious metals so that they have a constant value I think they are used to it and they are comforted by the fact that it is a limited resource and can easily improve the economy. |

parents prefer investing in gold and silver because they are pricked by the old generation, gold and silver are the most attractive types of investment for many people since time immemorial, and until now gold remains one of the investment choices of many people

I agree with many posters in this thread that investing in Gold/Silver belongs to the past. Yes, most investors still prefer Gold and Silver, but they belong to the past imo. |

i think older people like or want to invest in gold/silver simply because they want their assets to be safe as possible. because gold/silver is a good store of value even the world will get a financial crisis. gold specifically is the safe haven for them. but like us who cant afford to buy gold or hedge gold we are most likely invest in investment instrument that is affordable for us. just like now, bitcoin is like a digital gold for this generation so young generation want to invest early even though its just speculation if this is to stay. the value of something is accepted because everyone accept it even though there is not intrinsic value.
Well it is true that old people like to invest in gold/silver and the reason is that it was one of the best option of their time. How would they invest in crypto, when they don't understand it. Also people around the world who invest in crypto are well learned and are from different age groups but the majority is young because crypto is latest technology. People invest in crypto not because they can't afford gold but due to the reason that they know that crypto has great potential than gold in terms of future gains. There are people who has invested millions of dollars in crypto, they could invest in other things but they believe in the technological revolution. |

Precious metals are always a safe investment. Older people can not handle much information about the investment market. They may lose their investment if their market information is incomplete.

I'm not one who would invest in precious metals, but I have noticed that a good amount of the older generations are pretty keen in investing in these metals. They see it as a way to bet against the market, and a security that will always be safe -- even in the times of a market downturn/country failure as a whole.
I personally wouldn't even want to buy these metals in those events, as I don't see the reason to. I'd rather invest in securities that go up when the market shits itself (Payroll lending companies and so on and so forth)
Does anyone here know the reason behind people loving precious metals?
Some older people like investing in gold and silver because for them they feel comportable and they contentedly the amount of profits that they gets. And some of them don't have knowledge about investment in crypto currency. But I think if they know about investment in crypto currency's, I guessed some of them will directly invest their money in crypto currency. |

When the older generation was young, technology was not developed at all in many countries they have always seen such metals being used for investment purposes since many decades. This make them feel safe while investing in them. Cryptocurrencies is completely new concept for them and many find it difficult to understand. They are unwilling leave their conventional investments methods and try new ones. |

investment in gold and silver is more stable and clear, where the value of profits in general is greater than deposits in banks. if this is more profitable than deposit why not to do it with a good level of security and profit
I really believe that older people always want to invest in gold/silver because it is also one of the best investment and we all know that many older people are always inlove with gold and silver that's why they continue to invest and offcourse the value of gold and silver is also rising every year. |

In my opinion, this is primarily brought about by its tangentiality. People like to believe in something that they see and feel through their senses, this is what investing in precious metals is like. Second, many people are used to trading with this because it is much safer and less volatile.

You are right, they prefer to invest in gold because they are more safer about the price of gold that is not unstable and as time passes by value of gold increases unlike the price of crypto market. And gold is existing for more than a decade or a century now. |

The older people would like to invest in gold and silver because it is the simpliest form of investment, with more registrations to make just to be a member of that business and gold and silver is also the traditional way of aquiring assets by buying this gold and silver and can stored even for thousands of years with great value even if it is antique thing or assets.

As I see it, it is simply because it is a lot easier for them to invest in gold and silver, investing in bitcoin or anyother cryptocurrencies need at least basic knowledge to advance knowledge about our new technologies today, and that is what they are having trouble with. But if they would just learn how to use our new technologies today, they would find that investing in cryptocurrency is a lot easier than having lots of paper work investing in silver and gold. I think this is the main reason why, stability is just a secondary concern.
