As far as I heard, the ICO Scam raised over $ 1 billion. Why did people invest in these ICO? Do you think this situation has changed now?
People get scammed because they not doing a research first before making investment. I am believe if they make research, they can not being scammed. I dont think right now situation change because there is no regulation about ICOs and scam ICOs can happen again |

People get scammed because they not doing a research first before making investment. I am believe if they make research, they can not being scammed. I dont think right now situation change because there is no regulation about ICOs and scam ICOs can happen again That's what often happens, people may be tempted by the project or the bonus they get. You are right, people who want to invest should certainly examine the entire ICO project. In order to avoid further fraud in the future. |

I believe that is because they don't know that the project they invest on is a scam, or in another word they believe that the project is legit so they end up making an investment in that project.

Most probably the investors that put their fund in that Fraud ICO is because they got tricked, and perhaps it came from new investors who still doesn't really understand how the cryptocurrency work, and still don't have enough experienced to filter any good or bad project.

If they could predict or know the ICO a scam then there certainly will not be investing in it. It could be that they invest in ICO scam because it is very similar to the original ICO and could thus not doing research on the ICO that they wish to follow. If it can do the research well certainly it is most likely a scam could have been avoided.

Currently many people invest in ICO projects without reading much information about the project, few people read their whitepaper. There are people who only listen to the advice of others but do not know the purpose of the project they invest |

I think this current time when the bearish market still not come to an end, the Token sale of every ICO project cannot reach soft cap or hard cap due to the loss of the trust about future of ICO project. So that I think 2019, ICO will die if the market not recover. |

All the peoples are normal human being so they don't know how the future market will move. But investors are must research the potential of project, This year many projects are failed and most of the altcoins are died so peoples are panic in ICO participation. My suggestion is you are check the softcap and hardcop, once it will reach softcap it will make good profit.

Most people still invest in ICOs because of the high returns some people made from ICO investment in 2017 but unfortunately ICO investments is no more profitable because their prices fall drastically when they get to the market

People invests because of a promise of a great return. But that is not always the case nor the outcome. People invests because of a great project, but this is a long term projection. Along the way a project may halt and you lose again. A promised to gain more profit always entice an uninformed investor, its good to always read fro other sources and weight in some options.
