Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

this is perfect chance to get rich HOLD YOUR FLAPS PEOPLE DONT SELL THEM FOR 1 or under 10 maybe a month and we hit 100000 block and reward wil half people will regret selling it at 1 soon moon

I store all my FLAPs in cold storage on USB... and USB is locked in the box.
I give the key to my girlfriend, and ask her to give me keys back for one year
when block reward drop under 10,000 FLAPs  Cheesy

Nice, thats a good idea! I'll have to remove myself from FLAP for a few months, probably cold storage my coins - the thread is so negative and a lot of uninformed, unintelligent, and ignorant statements keep getting made that have no use for the community. A lot of my analysis work is done, but it would be nice if we could finally get that confirmation from the devs that they in fact did contact Dong and talk Flappy Bird. We've received a snapshot of a gmail conversation in vietnamese, which could've easily been photoshopped - and of course dev has made numerous comments to users and posts about now having photograhic proof, which hasn't been produced.

Let's be clear that the dev has been offline since March 13 from bitcointalk, and only 3 days from reddit, in which he is working on an exchange wallet. Regardless of what the price is at right now, given the recent disappearance of flappycoin.info and the exchange and difficulty/multipool issues - you'd think he'd be at least want to address this to the community.

Then again, he could very well be angling towards something, and personally - my portfolio is okay to risk what FLAP I have and hold for now. Anyways we need FAITH restored, it would start by backing off with comments denouncing the coin or pronouncing it dead. I think there's been a lot of activity taking place on all fronts, whether specifically on exchanges or with mining and development. If I have to I can establish of timeline of Flappycoin and it would be beneficial to see exactly what we've been through so far as a community. Anyways, I'm in no way am trying to put Flappybird, the community, or the devs in a negative light, but a lot of what's going on is normal in a cryptocurrency community - but there's a few clear issues that would be better resolved now than a week from now - and the developer/s are going to have to take a vocal role on here to present their case for now and the future.

Good luck guys!

Got 45 Mill bought at @2, not sure what to do. When the dev is gone, then the coin is dead and I should sell now.

If the dev is still here, I should wait, but the walls at 1 are gone, there are only 9 btc at cryptsy and at allcoin and pol, they are already selling at @1.

I had hope for this coin, hope I dont regred it, like I did with CTM

I hear ya, but - you're scratching your head over buying FLAP @ 2 BTC? A lot of people have bought 3+Sat, I would think there's still bagholders between 7-8 Sat. I'd think lesser hopes for them after all of this than what the 2 Sat buyers are going through. I'd be patient for those who bought any at all.

Lol you dumbass, continue spewing "dead coin" comments along with half of you trolls and fake accounts. Look at the state of other coins, you don't have to be a rocket scientist to know the markets are flat period. FLAP has been heavily influenced on exchanges and you can see bags moving their orders around to wall off buyers, SINCE THE START. This wasn't hard to see, and not a hard decision to sell or hold. If you held, you're in it for the long haul, unless you're retarded and sell at the bottom. For as much as some of the buy orders have been pulled at 1 sat - the amount of volume was higher than most coins on Cryptsy since it's addition, and the chances of removal are not as bad as you think.

It's simple. Either sell at 1 satoshi, or hold and see whether we go to liteoshi levels. Coming here and laughing at low prices is foolish. I'll make sure to have every fucking troll quoted when we stabilize at higher prices, of course most of you will be either gone or pretending they never said anything negative. In the meantime I'm waiting for the next bit of news and setting buy orders @ liteoshi levels on poloniex, until then I'm not losing sleep over mining from the start and buying early on allcoin @ 2sat. See you all on this thread next month - I fully expect FLAP to still be in existence, maybe with a tad bit more optimism and without all of the trolls and fake accounts.

it sux to be a bag holder, but face the facts, the longer you hold the more you lose.

theres 500k coins per minute minted, this is not even worth 1 dogoshi

there are no buy orders, and thick sell walls.  if you can, put on sells @ 1 sat, and pray somone will be silly enough to buy.

Flappycoin is no more popular like flappybird game. Hope to get 04-05 satoshis. Because get good profit if you buy from 03 to sell on 05. Good deal if works.

Your're not hearing from the developer because the developer is waiting for someone in the community to help resolve a compiler issue http://www.reddit.com/r/flappycoin/comments/20azvv/flappycoinqt_200_is_uploading/cg2ac6t. I've looked at the code on Github (last modified 9 days ago)... and what the developer has done is add a Game tab to the wallet, which is really just a link to the web game:

webView->load(QUrl("http://flappycoin.info/game.html"));

and also made some cosmetic UI changes (logos, coin name, icons, etc.). Since only the qt (UI) side has been modified and not the underlying wallet source... you would think that it would compile easily enough.

I would like to suggest forgetting about this particular update to the Windows wallet (like I said it's just a link to the game on the website) and get on with the serious development like the game or exchange integrated with the blockchain... however those ideas came from people's wishful thinking and the developer has made no suggestions that he would be integrating anything into the blockchain.

Still, this coin (or any other coin) does not require a new wallet for it to become valuable... it needs a community that cares about the coin's future and that is actively developing services to make use of the coin... at which point the coin becomes valuable.
