Some progress made on http://flappyapi.com. The following public API requests are available:

http://flappyapi.com/currentblock
http://flappyapi.com/nethash
http://flappyapi.com/difficulty

No big deal really.. but I'm now positioned to create something useful for this coin.

FlappyAPI v1 Documentation: http://flappyapi.com/api

Currently holding off on further development of user wallets and private API requests (for integration with merchant sites, online games and mobile apps) until some sort of indication the developers of this coin are still on board.

[EDIT] Will continue to work on this for FLAP as I can easily port this work over to another coin with more active devs. I'll just think of FLAP as a testing environment and I'm lucky to have over 100 million test coins! Wink

We should try and message youtubers with big audience like Athene.

We could include it in his webstore or even in his minecraft server.

Nop, dev not responding + people buying at 2 and selling at 1 is the dead of any coin.

Also Multipools are hurting us bad.

The dev is not fixing anything... he's trying to add a tab to a perfectly fuctioning wallet that simply launches http://flappycoin.info/game.html within the wallet... it's a pointless effort really as you can open that URL from any web browser and play the game... sort of feels gimmicky as the game doesn't really reside within the wallet... try disconnecting your network connection... you won't be able to play the game from your wallet.  Review my analysis on his source code: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=464743.msg5760639#msg5760639

People, please get over this wallet update stuff... current wallets work great... concern yourself with how this coin be USED!

Devs... PM me... I believe in this coin and I can help you!

He wants to implement a exchange in the wallet, which would be really sick!

No offence to either you or the dev... but the dev is having problems adding a tab to the wallet that simply launches a URL (http://flappycoin.info/game.html).

Here's the source for that tab:

flappycoin/src/qt/gamepage.cpp

#include "gamepage.h"
#include "ui_gamepage.h"

GamePage::GamePage(QWidget *parent) :
  QWidget(parent),
  ui(new Ui::GamePage)
{
  ui->setupUi(this);
  QWebView *webView = ui->webView;
  webView->settings()->setAttribute(QWebSettings::JavascriptEnabled, true);
  webView->settings()->setAttribute(QWebSettings::OfflineWebApplicationCacheEnabled, true);
  webView->settings()->setAttribute(QWebSettings::LocalStorageEnabled, true);
  // webView->settings()->setAttribute(QWebSettings::DeveloperExtrasEnabled, true);
  webView->setContentsMargins(0, 0, 0, 0);
  webView->setFixedSize(430, 580);
  webView->load(QUrl("http://flappycoin.info/game.html"));
}

GamePage::~GamePage()
{
  delete ui;
}

not too complicated... can you really expect the dev to build a full-blown exchange integrated with the blockchain when he's struggling to add and compile a simple link to a website?

How many coins do you hold?

88 million coins at present... and bought most of those at 4 satoshi... sold all my DOGE for FLAP... so I have great interest in making this coin work... I'm a coder and I can help anyone who wants to help build support for this coin.

I think focus on this coin needs to shift away from the wallet... the wallet is simply a place to hold coins... people are not looking to play a game or exchange crypto within a wallet... there are full-blown websites dedicated to both these tasks. I want to develop services that actually USE the coin... e.g. the site I'm working on now: http://flappyapi.com/

Dear Devs,

I live in Thailand which allows me a very short and cheap flight to Vietnam. If you truly have a connection with Nguyễn Hà Đông (Dong Nguyen) please hook me up. I will personally show him how to integrate his game with FLAP!

Thanks,
Dan

Didn't that guy say he pulled the game off the shelves because he felt guilty that people were playing it too much and wasting time though?
