I have been in communication with FlappyCoin developer. Sorry for silence, last two days have been discussing and changing the plan a little.
This does work out for us all. He seems very mature and is ready to work with us all, has been relinquishing control in small bouts.
This happening is huge. It changes the plan in 3 major ways.
* No Hard Fork. As long as everyone updates by Block X chosen.
* No confusion or rebranding.
* Official support and exchanges/pools are all on board if FlappyCoin dev is on board.
This also allows it to happen pretty much now, or tomorrow, or the 18th like planned, or further on.
Since we have chosen the 18th we think this is still the best day. Gives us time to really update the websites/domains anyhow.
Sorry for any miscommunication or loss of communication.
Last couple days were surprising but certainly not a bad thing. All things considered this is perhaps the best outcome of all.
Thank you,

http://www.reddit.com/r/flappycoin/comments/234goz/plan_going_forward_we_have_flappycoin_dev_on_board/Any details of the plan?
1. capping?
2. halving?
3. any improvement?
The information is out on sub-reddit but just a quick overview of what is occurring but not absolutely final. For a short overview.
KGW Exploit fix has been implemented first and foremost.
There will be a sharp decline in coins. For now there is an effective "Soft Cap" and a hard cap will be implemented soon.
At Block 90,000 the decline will occur from 0 to 1 million coins generated to 0 to 100,000 coins generated afterwards. This is in sharp contrast of the halving structure that normally occurs at Block 100,000 to 0 to 500,000 coins per block. The halving will then occur like normal at blocks 200,000 and onward.
This change should slow down the amount of coins being generated by ten fold, allowing the old coins to retain more value, flow between holders and markets and not just miners dumping the coins. This also generates a slight demand. We are not looking for a pump and dump, but many of the tweaks are being used to hopefully retain or go back to original value FlappyCoin had. Likewise no hard cap is in at this point but since the hard cap was planned at 50 billion coins, and the new halving structure really only produces up to 50 billion coins over a year and a half it is effectively capped for now, and an actual hard cap can be inserted later.
We are mainly focused on working wallets and getting everyone updated first and foremost and getting KGW fixed. This is done and builds should be out Thursday night, with a lot of communication tomorrow and Thursday as well. The entire changeover should occur on the 18th.
The TipBot creator has sent me the TipBot source for reddit so this should work and be easy to set up during or slightly after this update occurs.
Likewise the domain flapcoin.com leads to the FlappyAPI site that was originally to be used for the take over, but at this time it seems like we won't need any take over.
Any further questions i'll be doing an AMA on thursday and answering all questions and getting people together now.
Right now I am currently working on getting in actual contact(Just back and forth on forums, reddit PMs at the moment and have been made a moderator) for the domain release from FlappyCoin.
He is either still running the site, or just releasing domains. Either way works for us.
There is a lot going on, it's quite confusing and I apologise I haven't been able to post more. If anyone who has been helping can field questions in the mean time, or lead to the sub-reddit, or update people on the changes that would be wonderful.
Working together as a community this change over is seeming to become easier and easier. Though I know myself the organization is a little hectic.
For the future of FlappyCoin after the change over is not uncertain. We have a lot planned, but we want the community to help and decide. After the 18th successful launch further plans will be communicated on long-term plan for flappycoin.
Thank you so much for all your support.
