You are right though, but most times the market can't be predicted. So in my opinion, if you are in profit, then you can sell and buy back later, but if you aren't then hold. Selling at loss means you have accepted defeat.

And what investors should do in such situation? Sell all they have for small money or wait until a token will go up?

I'm asking as a person working in such project. After ICO token price went down (KCY, I'm sure you heard of it). And It is interesting to know investor's opinion about such situation.

First and foremost, you have a great table topic here.

It has been a consistent downtrend for most of the cryptocurrencies around and as many cited, this is not really abnormal, it is indeed a part of any economical cycle whether fiat in nature or digital.

I could not really speak in behalf of other investors, but what else could we do in times like this but to hodl as much as we could. Fight the cringe until before we literally break.

It's like having a piggy bank and fighting off the itch to smash it open till we really have no choice but to break it. And we really wouldn't care anymore how much is there as long as we have something to spend.

That's the downside of investing in crypto. It would be wise to realize that volatility will always be an intrinsic characteristics of any digital asset.

I just hope things get better soon so that people like us who are dependent on the crypto economy gets to breath fresh air again. #winks

I believe that during the price drop, you should not panic and sell tokens. We must wait. You can wait a very long time, but soon the market will recover and the price of tokens will grow again.

This is definately not the best strategy to sell part of your coins on bearish market. On bullish - yes, you can cover your investment and leave the rest for hold till road map will be finished. Otherwise it is bad choice

Sell on the bearish market should become the worst idea i've ever heard in my life. Just put cutloss and you will be fine. I always try to sell some of my investment when it meets the bullish trend and i can take the rest and waiting for another bearish trend to be happened in the future. Those weak hands are always selling their coins when the market gets a big dump from the token holders.

The moment you realize that alt coin's value you have are dropping or suddenly turning into non-valuable ones. Then, you should sell it immediately. However, if you feel that your tokens have great potential and its ICO services are good. Then, by all means hold onto it. I'm pretty confident that a lot of coins even alt coins would increase their value by the end of this year. Maybe, waiting a litlle bit longer would somehow pay-off.

If you're a long time investor or long term trader you should invest in blockchain based asset i mean the real uses of cryptocurrency. That resolves the issue of the economy. It is difficult to give a definite answer to this question because many different projects are being taken to different targets. If you have a token of a poor quality project, you should sell it without waiting too long because the project will not promise any future. This situation will be reflected on the price as we can guess. As there will not be much change, the damage can grow to a greater extent, or it can lead to different problems. If the project is a good quality and promising project, it will not be right to sell immediately because quality projects can usually provide very long term gains. So, the answer to this question depends on the project that is completely preferred.
