I like that this theme have community manager, as I see - all questions have full answers. This allows for a better understanding of this project, I hope the security will be at the highest level.

Can your guys publish a comparison of features with other crypto projects that are perceived to be your direct competitors?

Feel free to check out our FAQ, it contains a comparison sheet! https://dusk.network/faq/

thanks for sharing guys. one word of advice , put your project on top and put it in Bold. it draws attention better.

Ok, just had a look at the comparisation-sheet.. wow..
If you guys pull this off.. well.. count me in as investor. but like some other ideas on the blockchain, waiting to see the first results / proof of existance Wink

That is what everyone in here though i suppose. Very interesting and valuable idea for a project, but we need to see and try at least some of the fetures of the product.

Any Bounties ?

We will roll out our bounty programme in the coming weeks, stay tuned!

Any plans on what kind of bounties these are going to be? They seem to vary a lot depending on the project. I would wear your signature in a heartbeat though. Smiley

Are they planning to release any demo or mvp? Would be very good indeed to test it and see how it works.

In this chart, you seem clearly the most private chain.

But aren't you afraid of governments will cause problems because of untraceable transactions?

Good question, we all know what the governments can do the reach the transaction data or any valuable information so government side is important i think.
For the government sooner or later will have to accept this, in fact the entire crypto-industry is built on anonymity and decentralization.

I am not sure they will accept that. But it will be a hustle, fun to watch.

what is the expected tx/s for the DUSK network?

More than TPS, which is a meaningless measure when in presence of an adaptive block size, it makes more sense to speak about throughput. Early experimentation shows that we can achieve extreme throughput by propagating block and block hashes separately (and worry about consistency later, as reconciliation would be indeed a separate matter). In this case it would not be excluded a throughput roughly 10^2 that of Bitcoin. This expectation is dependent on a lot of configuration throttling, as it would be connected to a few implementation choices. The most important of which are probably the ring signature size and the flavour of proof range used (bulletproof being my first candidate)

on dusk network, all transaction is going to treated as private or end user are allow to choose? Anonymity will be big thing once regulation come in to play. Like the concept of Stealth address, Ring CT signature and anonymous network layer.

is there any master node/super node going to be there for DUSK network? Is there any details or reward structure planned?

Dusk utilizes two kind of nodes;

Network nodes - transactional network clients. They compete with each other by locking an arbitrary amount for the generating and proposing of new blocks. Block generation is a computationally light task and therefore running a node does not require neither specialised equipment nor storage. The intention is for normal mobile devices to be able to run as a node within the network. The non-deterministic nature of the bidding process makes it so that even nodes bidding the minimum amount of DUSK have a fair chance to win the block generation sortition lottery.

Provisioners - These are nodes that have committed a certain minimum stake to the Dusk Network and take care of more network intensive tasks such as block verification, voting, and notarization (VVN operations). These types of nodes are non-transactional

The intention is to create an economy where nodes compete for block rewards, while Provisioners earn a steady ROI.

This is awesome! This is a nice twist to the standard node setups that a lot of other projects do. I can't wait to see it in action

WOW, interesting to mention something like this for the project, even for those who do not master the knowledge demonstrates the innovative idea and the competitiveness that comes from it. Innovation has become somewhat obsolete in the crypto, so we can spread something like this and expect good attention

Yes, there are many privacy coins and only a few will be used. Monero is the most well known.

Monero's originating from Bytecoin, and as far as I know it does not have the disadvantages and bugs of its predecessor. However, not the most used coin, right?

Monero is way more used then you think (along with ZEC) in the darkweb so don't understimate it! Btw Dusk isn't a currency, it will be an ecosystem of security anonymous tokens

Well guys, I dont see anything yet except only whitepaper on github.

When will U start building this "amazing" coin, so We can learn some code from ur github?

What are your thoughts about the new EU copyright directive Article 13 and other articles that seem to be on a collision course with immutable data structures such as blockchain? Is DUSK Network better equipped to deal with immutability in a regulatory landscape that increasingly mandates censorship (to protect the livelihood of poverty-stricken creators such as Paul McCartney)?
