There are a number of Open Source projects that I consider donation-worthy.
I'm going to suggest them to accept Bitcoin donations.

Libre Office / The Document Foundation (http://www.libreoffice.org / http://www.documentfoundation.org)
VLC media player (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/)
Gimp (http://www.gimp.org)

I've got many more in mind.

Just sent a request email to http://www.prq.se/?p=index&intl=1 (service from one of The Pirate Bay founders)

Philosophically close to bitcoin Smiley

or not... the answer:

Hi.

There is LOTS of different payment options out there.
 Most of them are scams.

The big problems is when we need to transfer the \"currency\" to a real
bank to be used to pay for our costs.
This is where most of the options fail (since they are scams and do not
 have any money to pay).

I'm going to talk to Day[9] of starcraft fame to take bitcoins as donations, and possibly the blip.tv subscription service he has. I'm not sure if this qualifies for the bounty, but I figured I'd give a heads up.

Day[9] is awesome. I've never played starcraft, but I randomly clicked on one of his videos the other day and was glued for the whole 1 hour 50 minutes.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NJztfsXKcPQ

It's the story of his life as a starcraft player, and it's amazing. What a guy! I regularly watch his channel now to watch the commentary he gives, even though I've never played the game.

I might be able to get a particular silver mint onboard with taking Bitcoins if the bounty is high enough. Anyone willing to donate to close the loop between bitcoins and silver currency?

As promised:
The largest Bulgarian e-cigarette store switched to BTC as alternative currency (not going to make it default as even EUR is not a widely accepted currency in Bulgaria yet) - http://www.pv-bg.com (either use the drop down menu or directly go to http://www.pv-bg.com/?currency=btc)

The other store that also uses BTC since my request: http://boardgames-bg.com (drop down menu or http://boardgames-bg.com/?currency=BTC).

Any reward to go to 12UYR1sj4tyddurscvNMTdqb7MRJ6ieRu6 or the address in my sig.

My site, www.freeworldmarket.com has a pagerank of 3. I have to reconfigure some things on it to take bitcoins (paypal froze the purchase account on there now), then you'll be able to buy from over 70 stores. What's that worth?
