It's funny because igorr does make some good points, but conveniently or ignoramusly  only extrapolates current trends into the future without taking into account other factors - natural physical laws that would stop hashrates and difficulty from rising forever and not only can slow down hashrate growth but also lower it, especially when/if price doesn't provide sufficient support. So yeah, his predictions work, but only for a short term. It will all balance itself out in the mid-term in the free market which is cryptos. But long-term (5 years from now), Proof-of-Stake cryptos will be the winner, as they completely eliminate these controversial points that he brings up for discussion. |

Bitcoin is not more interesting,and as such has no more investors, and losing popularity. All this so far has been an artificial raising popularity, using various speculations of mining hardware manufacturer. Now is mining factor 5.5 cents per Gh at 24 hour, and for next 12 days it will be about 4 cents per Gh at 24 hours, and here is begin of end for crypto coins. Soon, people will to realize that been deceived. |

Anybody who trades based on this nonsense will, and arguably should, lose their money. People who know about money know that even the very best Wall St. analysts rarely do better than random chance. What we see here is people guessing. Just guessing. If you have been here a while you know how this always turns out.
I can't say the OP is wrong. But I can say that he and I do not know what the price is going to be.

well it's over a month and this thread is still here so that is good.
Bitcoin can adapt and it is my understanding that it is made to do just that to evolve along with the growing economy of bitcoins. I think people are just looking at other coins and or just waiting for when they fell it is a good time to buy and I don't blame them at all. Nobody wants to be a bag holder am I right?
