575dollars in 575dollars. Not bad for something that was traded for cents not long ago.

The crashes actually do get less and less severe! Months ago we saw dives down of about $100 a crash. Incredibly stable. I guess people are hesitant to jump on the sell-wagon!

I should have gotten into Bitcoin back in 1992...

One man's crash is another man's buying opportunity.

Our family was terrorized by Homeland Security.  Read all about it here:  http://www.jmwagner.com/ and http://www.burtw.com/  Any donations to help us recover from the $300,000 in legal fees and forced donations to the Federal Asset Forfeiture slush fund are greatly appreciated!

Yeah... Well, I personally am not puzzled at all, it's actually one of the more minor crashes I've experiences. Although it comes at a somewhat questionable time. Or is it the starting point for the new bubble? Cheesy

I should have gotten into Bitcoin back in 1992...

One man's crash is another man's buying opportunity.

Actualy, the way i see thins is that bitcoin tryed to recover 3-4 times allready, and failed everytime.
There was no buy support, and im expecting to see much more dumps in the following 1-3 months.
Its the same everytime..

The price should be bouncing between $550-$650 for another couple of months and then, under an optimistic scenario, price can begin its gradual rise to $1000-1200 by next summer (8-10 months long bullish trend, 6-7% average compounded monthly growth). 2015 should be interesting in terms of bank bail-ins starting to happen more and more across the developed nations, that can provide additional buy support and take the price of Bitcoin to its ATH set at the end of 2013.

The odds for this optimistic scenario is more than 50%.

Why do you think the price should be bouncing between $550-$650 for a few more months, are there any rational expectations based on facts? And what will happen after that time period is over?

Igor was so right price fall for 10% from February. Everyoen should sell BTC back then and buy icecream. Icecream is cheap in February. And sell all now to buy cheap BTC.

Woah, just got out of my leopard-styled bed to enjoy some nice coffee and saw the Bitcoin price an hour ago! Yeah this is crazy, but it isn't the collapse of Bitcoin!!!! Remain strong, fellow soon-to-be millionaires!

For another 2 months to be exact. Well, economic activity in general starts picking up somewhere at the end of September - beginning of October, summer is usually slow, investors are on vacations, etc. Bitcoin past trading patterns also suggest that the next two months should be sideways movement at best.

Let's say that premise is true: What are they supposed to do? If you operate a big mining farm, you have to make sure to keep afloat. You have to set aside a certain amount of FIAT to pay your electricity bills! You can only postpone selling your mined coins for so long!

I should have gotten into Bitcoin back in 1992...

Nobody blames miners, just stating facts and trying to foresee future price action.

Okay, let's just patiently wait until the exchange rate strikes $550 and then go buying!

None of this shit was predicted and a lot of things just don't add up and aren't accurate enough to give them the prediction tag. Some of them are coincidences and most of them are misses. We shall just wait and see. My gamble is on us seeing 1000+ again before end of the year.
