LOL!
Okay the thread got a little weird overnight here, to get things back on track we are finalizing arrangements to bring Tokin Turtle, a small USA based marijuana clothing and apparel company with big dreams, onboard with the DopeCoin team.
We have also been contacted by the cryptocurrencyconvention.com team and in the process of opening a strong line of communication with them.
Small victories, day after day will get us to our end goal.
Great work team!

Well, this sucks Indeed, if i had some BTCs then i would buy all the coins up to 500 sats, as i believe this coin is way undervalued. Maybe i need to have a look to start helping with marketing, people that followed me a little on Klondike coin knows that i already did some nice things for it.

This seems to always happen with new coins. Coin launches, has good devs and a following. Dev announces some positive news (in this case a store accepting Dopecoins). Price shoots up, some peeps dump and some peeps buy at pumped price. Then the price crashes even lower than before the pump. Question is where do we go from here?

Your analysis of the last 2 weeks events are accurate. We are pouring on the efforts around the clock to establish progress and will continue to do so until we have hit our goal.
I truly believe that DopeCoins controversial nature allows for a very interesting reporting opportunity and is something that can and will go viral when it gets into the right hands. Both negative and positive publicity are expected and warmly welcomed.
In order for DopeCoin to be in a position to fully capitalize on that eventual opportunity it is very important that we have some additional pieces of infrastructure in place. Right now for me it is more a matter of getting the infrastructure in place before we blow up. I'd like for reporters to be able to say that DopeCoin is accepted in over ten retail locations around the world within the next couple weeks.
Our day will come, soon.

One of the things that got me into the dope wagon is the initially announced new security/anonymity something unique to dopecoins. I don't see why its required for crypto currencies, but hey... anything that eases the anxiety of Heisenberg is a good thing I believe True to its name, I think the next move needs to be towards approaching the many online seed stores out there ( http://www.greenhouseseeds.nl/shop/?sl=EN or http://www.seedsupreme.com/ to name a few) instead of the Brick n mortar places.... Im not sure if trust is going to last long, so a dopecoin payment gateway/escrow service of sorts would do wonders. The beauty of these place are that most (if not all) of them ship internationally. A shop in Spain accepting bitcoins is not going to do much for a guy sitting in Australia, but an online store that ships to his address will. (But hats off to you Dopey for pulling that one off though ... definitely a move in the right direction!) Right now, just about all crypto currencies go through a mental calculation of xcoin -> Bitcoin -> USD (or any other Fiat) and an equally tedious process to actually get that fiat. This step would need to be eliminated completely (the hard part) and the value needs to be kinda "ecosystem" like the way a Country's fiat is valued. For example a 1 litre bottle of water in India costs about 30 cents whereas the same (well almost same) bottle will cost over 2$ in US. They are both existing in two different ecosystems, hence the price difference too does not bother to reach equilibrium. Similarly I think once tangible goods and (ahem) services can be purchased by paying with dopecoins from online stores, an ecosystem will be created and we can break away from the BTC/USD shackles.

Thanks guys, and yes the flyer will be available in higher resolution and available for printing and distribution within a day or two.
Sony you have a good point and trust me we are reaching out:) I have personally sent over 1000 emails to various retailers and look forward to following up with each and every one of them over the coming days. A reputable online retailer would be a tremendous benefit for our community. Anything you guys can do to help would be also much appreciated. Like I mentioned before we are in a race to secure as many reputable retail partners as possible before we shift our efforts entirely towards media coverage and exposure. I will offer a personal bounty of 25K for anyone able to help;)

That's an awesome flyer. The usage of analogous colours is really appealing to the eye, naturally drawing you to admire it and, at the same time, read what it has to say. As for the incredibly low price: Right now, Dopecoin essentially doesn't have anything to truly hold a lot of interest (In the general public, ADHD-ridden, skeptical, cynical eye) until more retailers are established, more people know of it's true potential and intention, and it's proven to the world that it's worthwhile in it's use for the target industry. Good time to buy, js Basically, have patience and keep mining those coins while Dopey and crew continue working hard to establish this crypto where it needs to be. I'm currently sitting on 113,000 DOPE after a few days of renting rigs. How about you guys? Also, @Dopey: Are you just sticking to drug-related retail, or are you going to do some minor branching to other types of retail?

Thanks guys, glad to have you aboard.
I can see DopeCoin potentially being used for other markets other then intended. There will be a payment gateway publicly available and the opportunity will certainly be there. For the immediate future, my personal efforts will be focused on the MMJ market.
