That truly defeats the entire purpose of what a decentralized currency is supposed to be about. No one person or organization should be controlling or profiting in a manner that is not equal to everyone else.

That truly defeats the entire purpose of what a decentralized currency is supposed to be about. No one person or organization should be controlling or profiting in a manner that is not equal to everyone else.

But the thing is, they do not need a De-centerilized currency, they need is something they can sell to their clients, that way they can bank the cash sales they are getting. I say coop's need to look at the gaming industry till banks accept cash sales of Maryjane.

As with the people mining see'ing profit from investing into a coin that could become used, I say in my business it would be better for me to create an in house system to handle their issue and bank. Would be much more profitable then mining these coins.

Business is business, and I think if pitched right a system like I am mentioning will sale.

But how is that actually going to work? Lets say you make a coop coin. For calculation purposes, lets say one coop coin is sold by you for one USD. And you have an infinite supply of coop coins. Now a customer walks in and buys a pack of Afghan gold for 20 USD. You tell her you don't accept dollars anymore. Instead you tell them you deal with coopcoin and they buy 20 coop coins from you... you transfer it to her wallet and she transfer's it back to you. Now I may be missing something here, but it does seem a bit "odd", wouldn't you say?

But lets say it does it somehow works and you now need a network of people accepting coop coins for goods and services. So that same customer instead of 20 coops coins, bought 45 coop coins from you, and after paying you, still has 25 coops remaining in her wallet. She stops by the another shop for a bong and pays them 25 coop coins. What does the shop owner do then? Give you the 25 coops in exchange for 25 USD? What is the point of the crypto being this middle man then, if the value is not driven by supply and demand? What would be the difference between you and the fed if you had exclusive power to create coins and assign value to them?
