If you can make music, make a song yourself and release it under "The Cypherfunks". Otherwise, just get on board with mining, and spread the news! Will update the thread today with some more details on the launch tomorrow. @tibenian I'll look into password protected wallets right now, but that means I'll have to generate the genesis block ahead of time (which isn't too bad, as long as mining starts at the planned launch time). So far, I'm going to do all this 2-4 hours before launch, so it is as fair as possible. @majorminers Unfortunately I'm GMT+2, so I want to give myself most of Friday to work through problems if there will be any. Sorry about that. EDIT: Password-protected wallets will be release before launch (aiming for 1-2 hours before launch). Genesis block will be created 2-4 hours before launch. |

Considering the number of American coin-makers launching their coin in the middle of the night in Europe, I'd say it's refreshing... suits me just fine. |

By the way your "away from here" remix is awesome
EDIT : Actually, I heard a bunch of your songs and remixes and I love most of them. Your Cypherfunks theme song is actually the one I don't like so much. So messy, a bit too ambient and vague, for my taste.
If i were you I'd consider changing the theme to one of your many other songs, or at least use something catchy.

I think the 3AM EST launch time is going to have to be changed to something more realistic I like the launch time, Means a lot of the US miners will be a sleep. Well unless they're like me and don't sleep, but for me the launch time is only midnight so not a big deal. |

adding to my previous statement. did u hear about Taxicoin launch today? no windows or mac wallets on launch. superfail 4 hours after launch the pools are running but no coins being made/confirmed. basically a unorganized pile of steaming poocoin. i have my rigs ready. i shall mine with you. best wishes! |
