I ported cantonbecker's bitcoinpaperwallet to FUNK: https://github.com/n00bsys0p/bitcoinpaperwallet/tree/cypherfunk

I'm not particularly happy with the artwork, and I'm having a day of not being able to brain today. I've included all the core XCFs in the repo so you can make some of your own suggestions :-)

the big advantage of having a p2pool network with multiple nodes Wink

Yeah, it's been rock solid.. From time to time I've been mining on it depending on which alt I feel like mining that day... but I broke the block chain explorer now.. "I'm sorry, this address has too many records to display."  Cheesy

Awesome! Thanks. Going to print some of them and bring them along to gigs!

@neuro. This is also a great way to advertise it at festivals (along with flyers).

Seems like people are selling against the buy support. Anyone want to help chip in? https://cryptorush.in/index.php?p=trading&m=FUNK&b=LTC

Remember to also vote on http://mintpal.com/voting & coinedup. http://www.reddit.com/r/CoinedUp/comments/21f0oo/add_the_cypherfunks_funk_not_just_a_coin_also_a/

Android wallet is coming along nicely. Should be out within next week.

Finally. The seed nodes seem to a bit more expensive than I thought (costing me $35). If anyone wants to donate some BTC, I would really appreciate it: 1Aowi9E4P4TpivyVWVRKxsQXcfP4FCmzKC

EDIT:

How nice and chill is this new song? I like it.

Soundposition had such an awesome idea (don't know why we haven't thought about it yet). Let's hold an internet hangout show where we play songs, talk music, talk shit and hang out?

That is a great idea.  I did a bit of marketing tonight on fb with some musician friends.  It will be interesting to see the results.  I have a really good friend who is a concert promoter here in the US and he likes the concept and will help out.  He works with a lot of big names, but he also knows a lot of local and less famous musicians.  Aside from spreading the word in obvious ways, does anyone have any good ideas for me to approach him with?  It's a bit premature, but the thought of a music festival comes to mind first.  Obviously after better name recognition for Cypherfunks.

Thanks for the work on the Wallet, Simon.  I'll give some buy support tomorrow.  Too damn tired to move stuff around right now.  I moved out of CR due to the uncertainty, but it looks okay now.  I'll try and get you some BTC as well.  I exchanged all my BTC for USD recently.  I'm having a bitch of a time buying back in because I can't find my Social Security card.  PIA.

Does anyone of a fully functioning coloured coin wallet?

All I know of is Chromawallet, but it is not fully done yet. Mastercoin web wallet is hella confusing and I don't know how to create coloured coins. Coinprism is coming soon. And Counterparty is also confusing. Looking at nxt as well.

I have an idea that could be quite cool, but first want to see if its possible now. Smiley

I just want to mention again the friendly exchange with cypherfunks FUNK  check it out if interested in buying or trading some FUNK.
http://www.cryptokk.com/  I do operate a sponsored coin shop here, they would likely sponsor a cypherfunks coin shop if asked
Cryptokk is sponsoring shops, to help some coin devs and some involved users. Contact our support team to learn more about our sponsorship program.

Hi, if you wish to maintain a SponsoredShop, please send me an email on contact_at_cryptokk.com.

I grant to the sponsored shops an extra visibility + max upgrades on the account.

FUNK is trading well on Cryptokk so far Wink

Hi everyone!

I wanted to ask you some things about the concert (live show) idea.

I found this thing which might be a good service to use.. It's free (with ads) and allows for multiple video guests if we wanted to do a 'group' video chat.

tinychat.com/

Next I looked at uStream and Livestream, but uStream likes to play tons of ads, and Livestream makes everyone register.

The best solution I've found is the example set by the Ryan Montbleau Band.

The Ryan Montbleau Band enlisted the help of friends to build their own website to handle streaming once the group began broadcasting live shows in January. Unlike hosts such as Ustream, the band’s site has no advertisements or fees, nor does it require a membership login, as Livestream does.

If anyone has any ideas about how we can actually get a nice live show going, I'd love to hear them!

Tinychat seems legit [most straightforward for now]. You can stream soundcloud too. So, it's great even to just hang out, talk shit and listen to new music from SoundCloud.

So.

After an epic marathon session of coding today, I got the Android wallet working (kudos to some of the hard work done by HashEngineering and the Franko clan for porting scrypt & kgw to bitcoinj).

A crappy issue though. "ASIC"-resistance in the form of scrypt, means that it is substantially slower to sync than with sha256 coins. KGW also adds extra processing, which means the initial syncing process also drains battery. It is really not as fast as I had hoped.

I'll be reskinning the app and putting it out for beta in a day or 2. EDIT: That's if I don't find any bugs (which I just did). Wink

I'll have a look again at X11 to see it syncs faster, as that will be a nice reason to switch (and has some "asic"-resistance still). If you want the best SPV, mobile performance then switching to sha256 and normal diff retargeting would be the best. Tongue. Which is ironic. You have to take the good with the bad.

Update on the Android wallet.

Trying to figure out a bug where the coins won't send immediately (when you close the app and re-open it sends the transactions). Coming soon, guys. Coming soon. Smiley

Hi!

For addnodes, you don't need ports. Network ports are baked in. Old node IP sometimes still remain in the peer information in case it comes online somewhere in the future (so it seems like nothing is connecting).

Here's a getpeerinfo dump from the seenode.

Oh, another thing: updates on the wallet.

Seems the reason why it wouldn't was that it wasn't connected to enough peers. Peer discovery isn't working properly & I'm working to fix that asap. Cheers!

Also, since it is clear cryptorush is going down the drain, I've emailed Bittrex as well. Also vote:

Cheers guys. Band high five!

EDIT: 3 new songs! Thanks Soundposition for churning. Everyone should donate to this champ. CGohVVCDMzCvQRcR4dbnN52rA6STYvojUw. Nice snippets for remixing.

So. An update on the Android wallet. Finally figure out what the bug was [it's not]. SPV nodes don't directly connect to other nodes, so they can do "getaddr". It requires either hardcoded nodes, or a dynamic DNS seed [which is what BTC has].

Do "host seed.bitcoin.sipa.be" and you'll see.

We don't have one. I'll try and get one online. If anyone still wants to donate to the hosting of seed & dns nodes, please do: 1Aowi9E4P4TpivyVWVRKxsQXcfP4FCmzKC.

But I'm behind on other stuff I need to do, due to working on the Android wallet. Will try and get it done asap.

Seems like it. Think it's mostly for-profit miners that left due to Rush not allowing LTC to get out. We need to get onto a new exchange.

There's some stuff in the pipeline I'm hoping to get off the ground soon (2 options regarding incubators) where we can get more support to fund this project. Tomorrow, I'll get back to the Android wallet. I'm just behind on my actual stuff due to the time spent on Cypherfunks. Wink
