My wallet with 10,000 coins in it since the first hour has all 10,000 coins staked.
wtf.. I have mined since the beginning, haven't moved any of the coins and this is what I have: Does that mean that the wallet thinks only 1440 coins have been in my wallet for 8 hours? Of my 368,039 BC (which have never been moved) only 2,367 BC are counted as Stake. I guess it will just take a little time. All normal. You will stake different size chunks at different times. The staked portion will return to your balance line and you'll see zero stake. Then you'll stake another amount again and random times. Got it. Once interest is earned on the stake, they are removed. I noticed coins added to stake then deducted, this explains this activity. They will be available as stake again in 8 hours I presume, and so the cycle goes?

You make a get a whole slew of stakes one after the other, of various sizes. Then nothing for a while. Then stake. Don't be horrified when occasionally you get a stake interest payment that fails to confirm (permanently). It happens, when the same block was found elsewhere extremely close to the same time. And yes, the staked amount goes back and re-matures.

Ok.. heh.. this is like 15th additional small little detail to how the PoS works. And I actually got a text "stake mined.. and something", and I went to see the transactions list but I don't see it there. Should it be there?

Maybe someone would be kind to explain this POS stuff too me, i'm still trying to find stuff skimming through all 100+ pages, but here's my questions:
1. If my wallet is not encrypted, that is the same as being unlocked? If not, how to unlock it?
2. Does the stake show up based on the age of the coins or just the confirms? I.e. oldest coins get stakes first and so on down the line?
3. Does it matter where you are mining from to get stakes? i.e. p2p or a regular pool?

Crap forgot one more: 4. Does your wallet need anything in the config special? i.e. does it need server=1, listen=1, etc?

RELIABLE POOL Come over to http://bc.cryptoquest.net I've been here since launch. They have reliable payouts, only 1% fees. We need the hashes to compete, we need fair evenly distributed pools all around. +1 d4wn0ff473 The network needs hash rate distributed and not concentrated 51% in to mega pools. Bring some of your hash power over to bc.cryptoquest.net We are hitting blocks just fine but getting more miners will help even out the BC network. We have PROP payouts and are of course on the proper wallet. No forks over here.
