Does anyone know if the mac QT wallet will let coins stake?

Is your Mac wallet working? I couldn't get it to run, it just crashes upon double clicking on it, every time.
I'm on osx 10.7.5 (Lion). I guess I'll compile a Linux version for my other computer.

Any advice appreciated.
