Rebooted and tried downloading with Chrome and unzipped the file, moved the app to applications and then it worked. Even staking with an encrypted wallet seems to be working although I haven't staked anything yet.

A no-premine coin has its advantages but also its disadvantages - this coin has to be pushed by the community. So, how to push this coin? First of all, send 1% of your total holdings for bounties. The current bounties are simply not attractive enough; if you want to make money, you have to shell out money, that's a basic and fundamental law of economics. 1% is nothing to you but if every person sends out 1%, we can get the bounty pot up in no time. Bounties have been paid immediately from what I've seen so far, so there should be no fear of scamming or anything of the sort. There is an exception to what I've just said - btc38. Guys, you have no idea how much influential that exchange is. I've been in cryptocurrencies for nearly a year now, and ever since October, I've noticed a firm and steady trend - every coin which makes it on btc38 gets shot upwards. Oh by the way, just an aside: don't keep blabbing "to the moon, to the moon" like some infantile retard. That's the typical phrase for a pump-and-dump coin. I'm brand new to crypto I started with doge at 80sat.  I'm sure many of these people did as well.  I warned people when I sold at 1800 that something was wrong.  Here are some facts:
The op was never updated with the communities updates.  There was total confusion about who's working on what.
The wallet crashed on windows 64bit.
Noone understood how the minting process was working with the confusion of coins moving in and out of the stake column.
This coin was under attack by multipools the second it launched.  It wasn't even on an exchange and it had hashco ws destroying the diff.
By day 3 I had made 3x more money on this coin than any other coin and the community was the same people quoting the longest post they could find over and over to get the forum page count up.
I asked everyone why on earth I had just made 1 BTC with 5mh/s in 3 days and they just said "You're lying" or "look at mintcoin"

I was raising alarms because I saw bots posting buys at above the sell price to drive the sell price.  I was honestly trying to help people like me sell to the crooks @1800 not buy from them @3000.  This trading thing obviously isn't for me, because I can't help but feel for the people getting screwed by the market manipulation.
