If we needed an ISO compliant one, XBC would be my vote. XBL = Xbox Live to me.

BLK or XBC, I like them both. They're both easy to associate with BlackCoin.

wow XBC sounds amazing!

seriously guys, either XBC or just BC..

XBC is used i think.

TSE:XBC is the only ticker I could find on the TOKYO STOCK EXCHANGE.  XBC itself is not a ticker.

Nah, in cryptoland itself Smiley

Sorry Soepkip, I was not aware.  But I think it might be in our interest to take it over.  Which coin is it?  A dead one?

BLACKCOIN POOL...as judged by poolpicker.eu

http://poolpicker.eu/

Average BTC payout per MHs - Blackcoin 1st/2nd BUT NOT LAST  last48 hours!

But the data of 8/04 says

1- HashCow 0,0061
2- Waffle 0,0047
3- Blackcoin 0,0045

Do you want a picture of it?

Lets wait until poolpicker pics 9/04 data, but yesterday winner was HashCow then Waffle the Black. Thats the truth.

More data is needed to do a proper long term analysis.

The average over the last 3 days puts Blackcoin second overall. That is a very respectable position.

Good point on XBL. I didn't think of that.

The similarity of XBC to XBT could be a strength marketing wise. Perhaps we should also be quick to "claim it" as ours. Since any other Coin that begins with B would likely want XBC

Gold ticker is XAU and Silver is XAG

XAUUSD Is gold/USD and XAGUSD is silver/USD

So XBCUSD would be the Blackcoin/USD ticker.  Later this year when we make it big time and need our own legit ETF.

Didn't know that.

If we get an ETF this year I'm buying that Blackcoin speedboat and retiring  Cheesy

That exchange has got a life long supporter in my for that gesture. I don't recall ever seeing Cryptsy do something like that. But that's like comparing chalk with cheese, Cryptsy has given me a few heart attacks over the year with their missing deposits and other issues. Cryptsy always sorted it out for me I should stress, but still, Mintpal seems in another league.

The crypto gods were smiling down on me as I dodged a bullet with coinmarket.io. I was one button click away from depositing BTC there before they went weird. Thank satoshi.

It's great for Blackcoin that we're the biggest coin on Mintpal cos if Mintpal starts accepting USD desposits someday it will a big win for us.

if mintpal said they were compliant and offered a usd trading section, it would be huge.

I use Waffle for my 20Mhs rigs. been there since BC stoped POW phase.

Blackcoin is trying to appeal to Wall Street and Main Street.  Why not stay one step ahead.

Nice link.

I think that with coinkite coming on board this is great step in the right direction as they are pitching themselves as Point-of-sale specialists with their own terminals and of course Blackcoin with it's 10 second transaction times makes it the best suited crypto for point-of-sale payment for goods! If we pitch this correctly and market it well, we certainly stand a chance of catching investors eyes.

I have an idea!

I've found the contact email address for the Winklevoss twins EFT fund - press@winklevosscapital.com

It wouldn't take us 5 minutes to explain Blackcoin. Even if they aren't interested right now, I bet they would be tempted to secretly pump a few dollars in Blackcoin early on now.. which would be great in a years when Blackcoin is worth more since we want powerful influential people to be significant holders in Blackcoin!

I would stress in any email the lightning fast transaction speeds, partnership with coinkite and the uniqueness of 100% pos meaning millions of dollars dont get wasted per day in mining if Blackcoin reaches Bitcoin's popularity.

I want to personally thank everyone who has supported the PR project and has showered me with kind words!!! I love this community and will do all I can to help BC grow. That being said...The day is far from over and a lot is happening behind the scenes. A buy wall on Mintpal has been established @9000 sat to keep BC above 9000. I will like to note that someone is purposely driving the price of BC down and a lot of BTC is being spent to keep it up.

PS: If you like what I have done, feel free to donate. I can use a weekend vacation with my wife...lol: BQQsUdYaqCGUDhdXPADto1gKwvEA2a92TP

Thank you too for the efforts.

Don't forget guys, the effect of this marketing drive will also be long term. Building up SEO (search engine optimisation) for blackcoin by listing us on premium respected news sites is a big WIN for blackcoin. People who google blackcoin and investment will hit on those stories in the coming months. It also gives us credibility.

Good work everyone.

36 BTC Wall @ 9900 sats  Sad

Some people here think I was BSing about "Wall Street Associates" (Not you). Let me explain what has been going on for 24 hours...We would have been above 10,000 since yesterday but someone kept pushing us down. I said it was happening at the time..some people thought I was "paranoid". Early this morning there were organic attempts to get BC above 10,0000 again, and with every attempt it was pushed down. I started noticing someone trying to push us below 9000 this morning so I had a 22 BTC buy floor established. So at 4:45PM EST today another attempt to push BC above 10,000 started, and as soon as momentum started the 36 BTC wall appeared out of nowhere. This is not a coincidence...someone is sabotaging BC for whatever reason.

I think you're off on this one pal.

Don't try to analyse "walls" in crypto it will drive you mad. + Remember not every wall is a fake or an attempt at manipulation. I've put up a lot of genuine walls in my time (not in BC though).

I agree that Mint has suffered another crushing day and I feel sorry for bagholders like you who keep trying to spread obvious FUD in the blackcoin topic  Cheesy

Ps. Mint was premined by the dev and such coins never succeed in this community.

Mint.. you were the one that bring that name here on this thread, so here are my opinions.

Black have an issue,  low reward POS is the same as a low reward POW. make it less resilient to attacks. and thats a fact.

Mint/black i dont care, i have BOTH and a lot. jejejejej

What i love is the truth, like i always do cuz im a reporter, a gonzo reporter from Venezuela.
