Im mining WC to hold and then pump for BC This price talk and talk of your gambling on other coins really adds nothing to this thread. As a community we should be focusing on building community and infrastructure of blackcoin, not your new coin of choice to gamble on.

Anybody here plan to invest in this coin for a long term? From what I read so far it seams like most people are looking for a short term and will dump this coin like a cheap whore once it reach $1 or $2. I think if this goes well it could go $100 - $300 in the long term, or any amount more than LTC and BTC but not surpass BTC because the code depends on BTC. Unless the dev somehow invent something novel (not just implementation of some existing algo like kecchak or groestl).

Parasites and leeches, they only care about increasing their BTC holdings, they don't give a fuck about BC.

I'd be willing to bet 95% of the BC holders would feel this way. No matter how you slice it, everyone is in the crypto world to turn a profit.. Short or long term, I doubt many are in it just because they like spending money on electricity

Don't hate on the people having fun and on top of it trying to make something out of it. Silly talk needs to not be spoken..Mine your own biz.

They can always to a better job. But whitecoin doesnt have any marketing at all. truth to be told. therefore, blackcoin already beated whitecoin at marketing. The only reason why whitecoin has its succes is because blackcoin has its succes and all the people that lost money on the pump try to get it back using the whitecoin train.
Whitecoin is premined so without anyone doing anything the greedy dev has already sown the seed of Whitecoin's destruction. Coins which give premined coins to the dev never go far. It's a permanent black mark against the coins name. See MINT as a recent example. I say to anyone, if you believe in long term value investing go with coins like BTC, LTC, PPC, DOGE, BC etc.

I'm invested in it for the long term. I don't like talking specifics but I'm a fairly large bag holder. Admittedly at first I was trying to increase my BTC holdings but after participating in the community and learning more about the technology I have changed my position. I am now a long term BC holder, I look forward to spending my BC and contributing to the growing community. I hope POS will overtake POW because it has many advantages including decentralization that actually represents Satoshi's original idea of the network being ran by users running the client, almost no energy use and incredible transaction speed. That said I would also prefer slow and steady growth over spikes, I don't want this to be a quick rich quick scheme. I want us to be seen like a savings account with our 1% inflation with staking and steady buying power from the multipool to keep the price stable. That is why I would hope the community would focus on hashing rates, infrastructure and merchant adoption over price. I'm doing my part by building the first BC centric exchange, where every currency is traded against BC. After we get this off the ground, we will be using the profits to invest in other BC projects to hopefully make it easier for merchants to use our coin and benefit from its stability and quickness.

With reference to the dev's, myself and a lot of people here we're in it for the long run eg at least a top 3 coin
