Would it be worth taking out a loan to buy more blackcoin? just curious on what people think
I think it would depend on the details..ie can you afford monthly repayments etc. If you can't make the monthly payments then no, this would be a terrible idea. If you can make the repayments for the duration of the loan comfortably (without needing an increase in the price of BC to make those payments) then it could pay off nicely for you. But always, never invest more than you can afford to lose.

If you found a way to predict the future AND you see BC rising, the answer is yes seriously, never invest what you cannot afford to lose completely. not only a rule for crypto. It's looking promising in long term and i am very certain that BC will rise a lot, i invested some k euro myself, but not even 10% of my savings.

What we are actually looking for:(and the only kind of video that will win) is video's like used on www.weusecoins.com etc. Informative, good designed and -most importantly- usefull for the future. I've been puzzling over that for days. Basically stuck on the fact that most of my ideas are probably not entirely 'professional' and more to the point I'm clueless on that style of video making. It's very much a flash style video, whilst I was thinking about improbable ideas. E.g. Getting some some videos of the red square, Leicester Square, Paris etc, and motion tracking them to produce a blackcoin theme on the colours in the major world cities. It would almost be quite cool to do that with Coinkite, but seeings as their colour isn't iconic yet, nor do I own the rights to any footage, I thought perhaps not. I better dig out the internet's one and only free flash software then. Well, I supopse there's more than one.

BlackCoin Card Shipping Next WeekI am happy to announce the first batch of the BlackCoin cards will be shipping next week!!! In a few days those sexy BlackCoin cards will start showing up in your mailboxes!!! I will upload photos as soon as the batch arrives from the factory on Monday. I want to thank everyone who purchased the first batch of BlackCoin cards!!!
If you haven't already purchased a BlackCoin card and you want to be part of the second batch being sent out in May, please place your order now: http://www.blackcoincard.com [/b] Good to hear I would really want to purchase three or four cards precharged with 500 or 1000 BC as a gift to some friends and for me, is this option available? that would be so convenient to me.That is the beauty of the cards, you can add as much BC as you want once the cards arrive. Yes, but when you want to send a gift to someone, for example a potential client for your bussiness or you want to surprise someone, it's much more convenient and direct to send the gift directly to the person you want to make that gift ("as is"); less steps, less time consuming, more simple, more practical. As an option isn't bad, and I think it's a good idea. -EDIT- But, don't get me wrong, I really like the cards and they look impressive, keep up the good work! I am looking into the legality of it because others have asked for this. As long as the customer is using crypto to buy the pre-loaded cards I should be fine. Give me another week or so to make sure I am legally allowed to do this and I will add this if it is legal.

This is amazing news!!! Once again this community were able to get the job done when working together. Now with CoinKite, Moolah, and Vault Of Satoshi we can use these companies as leverage to further gain market share. Once again I ask everyone to email Mintpal and be heard!!! Do not let up on them, they are not doing us any favors. We want our own pair and if Mintpal doesn't want to give it to us, then lets see if Cryptsy will be willing to give it to us.

Yes, I am beyond critical of that piece of shit coin launched by the most incompetent of devs in cryptoworld. As a Spaniard, I tried to help when the concept came out... only to see NOTHING done correctly but this absurdly incompetent dev. As a Spaniard, I stated I considered -and still do- an insult to the Spanish people to offer 500 coins worth absolutely nothing. The answer of the people cannot be clearer. It could be louder... only if anyone would ever care about the coin which has become quickly and irreparably a funny sideshow in the world of crypto.
It's your attitude... Someone tries to do something, and you come along and expect people to start doing it your way. And when they don't, you throw a tantrum and try to ruin it. You're just like a spoiled brat, and no-one here owes you anything, grow up. So you don't like my attitude? Oh well, like they said you can please some of the people most of the time but you cannot please all the people all the time. When something I am interested in is being handled poorly, I express my opinion -quite educated if I may say so myself-, offer cooperation and, if capable, advice. I did that with the Spaincoin dev. I posted, repeatedly, "do not insult your customers -the Spanish people- with a "gift" that's worth less than what costs to claim it". This was just common sense for anyone knowing his mouth from his ass, but that is not the case and this idiot chose to go with the greedy wishes of foreign nationals that had been accumulating worthless coins, instead of doing the obvious to try to... well, just add some value to it. The results speak for themselves and yes, I wish you and all the greedy mofos that did not care one bit about the coin, that you lose every single penny you put into that shameless "effort". If I haven't grown at this stage in the run, it isn't very likely I would ever do but it's always an interesting challenge... except when the advice comes... well, from below the ground. And no, nobody owes my or anyone else anything but if someone wants my approval or my money behind their project, they better show that they are competent enough in what they do. You would not know anything about that now, would you? May I suggest StreetFighter 2 or it is perhaps too complicated for you?

i say let each exchange know if they dont make it happen we're withdrawing our coins and move to one that does. Mintpal made so much money from us already. They owe it to us

BC might be down a bit now but our volume will increase with this new wave of positive news. If Mintpal can't do this for us after making a ton of money from BC, then it is time we move to a new exchange that will appreciate our volume.

how about this as a draft for an email to mintpal: Hello Mintpal-Team,
the BlackCoin community has been asking for an own pair (BC/DOGE mostly) for quite a while now. The reactions, if at all, where at best half-hearted.
BlackCoin/the BlackCoin community has lead to a major increase in volume on Mintpal, but instead of "rewarding" that with an own pair for the by far most important coin on your platform, you chose to add clones and copies w/o any poll.
Although most of us do like and prefer your platform, many of the active BlackCoin community members think about leaving, please think about your recent politics before you lose our trust.
Kindest Regards One of many BlackCoin supporters. Corrections welcome, my English is quite terrible.... But i think it's possible to figure out the point.

Preview of the x11 update coming for CryptoAlts. Just remember, this is going to be BETA. Things got a lot more complicated adding in support for other algos, so I really, really hope it just works. But if it does, sha256 and sha3 support will be very quick to add in the coming weeks. ETA ~ 6 hours-ish

It almost sounds like blackmail. When I was in charge of mintpal and I was planning to give BC it's own pairs, I just didn't do it, after recieving this mail. Further would it be better, when signed by the dev-team.
