Seems a bit expensive considering what the Chinese are now selling but the question I most have, after looking over the specs, is...
What ASIC chip are they using? 0.65W/GH is a big claim. Even the Chinese A1 boxes only claim 0.88W/GH!
It must be the most efficient Bitcoin mining chip made so far. Who paid for it's development? What node? etc.
The chip is the Coincraft A1, it's in the first post  http://bitmine.ch/?page_id=863Price wise the 3TH is on a par with 15x Antminers which would get you the same speed in a couple of days. The downside of that many ants is space, psu's, cables, network switches and the biggie power usage. It will all come down to when they are actually available, if they can make the timeline they have set I'd probably buy. Be lucky to get 0.65W/GH out of the A1, the Chinese 0.88W/GH claim is already far higher than the Technobit A1 Chips I'm running which only get 1.1W/GH! Mine won't get out of bed for less than 850mV (Turbo mode!) and only supply Normal Mode 25GH/s! But I've always suspected they may have made an improved 2nd batch. |

I would love to be on that road trip but the last time I was in a trunk it involved a copy of Feminist Review and a cucumber . Needless to say an experience I'm not over keen to repeat even if I get to see miner porn at the end.
Well I am 90% sure I'm going to go with a 2.250 TH with the last of my fiat if this company can deliver. I'm aware it might just be better to buy and hodl btc instead but... well I miss mining and have a fair bit of free power during daylight hours so what the hell. Solar power and outrageous government feed in tariffs 4TW.

FWIW... why not hedge your 'bet' and spend half on mining equipment and half on BTC... then you get to mine and hodl at the same time  Btw. in that link I PM'd you yesterday they are claiming a more reasonable 1040W/TH. |

I just reverse looked up the phone number it does say it is coming from Rotherham. I do respect the fact they are not taking pre-orders this does give me confidence plus paypal would be a bonus. However the point is still valid I don't see a VAT. I am following this very closely. |

Sorry for the delay with any updates we are currently working flat out:
Our VAT number is 181109625
Regarding our production etc.. we are waiting for a delivery of components to our electronics manufacturer. Once we have these components in stock we have everything ready to mass produce.
When we do start accepting orders, for the first week we will only be accepting orders for the enigma 1. This is to ensure that we don't get too swamped and can meet our dispatch deadlines, the following week we will be opening up to the rest of our range.
We are also in the process of setting up a small datacenter to offer a hosting solution for your miners which includes 24/7 monitoring and a backup UPS, this will be online an running by the end of march.

Assuming it's not voltage locked and a buyer can up the voltage, from 0.65V low power mode, to 0.765V normal mode to get 1TH. But yeah time to delivery is key these things lose 50% of their value per month, that's why companies don't usually hold stock, but take pre-orders! |

Time will always tell. What i have learned from my investments with Asic's in the last months is: You have to be patient :-)
Also it will help you to succeed if you can show videos from working prototypes (sorry if i miss that, didnt read the whole thread) and the most important thing:
Send one or two miners to senior forum members who can verify your product.
Everybody will be a happy customer :-)
