For those interested, please send BTC to 1DnqRRd5rB2pudB7kfo6yRxcUaqjEjwMcP.

PM me or Reply here with transaction details or proof.

Accepting up to 10 BTC. All additional BTC received will be refunded.

See updated list: https://blockchain.info/address/1DnqRRd5rB2pudB7kfo6yRxcUaqjEjwMcP

Important: A note to anyone considering purchasing from the whale.  The whale's funds will only be available after the launch.   We will not be doing the bookwork (nor genesis block changes) for whale's reselling.  Also, we cannot be responsible for his actions (ie. whether he turns out to be honest or not).  We are not saying he is dishonest--- we don't know.  As always, proceed with caution!

I think make pool for Heavycoin  .
You have libc for p2pool or stratum or any for check validity hash with your algo ?
I can not make pool or P2pool without code for check hash or full spécification algo .

Thanks,

The IPO total value is already almost 50 BTC. I would like to sell some of my IPO stake to reduce my risk. I believe it is still profitable up to a 75 BTC IPO Pool, and don't wish to see it increase by much more than 50 BTC.

I have a 20 BTC stake, and would like to sell off 10 BTC.

If you're interested to buy a stake from me, PM me for details. No additional charges.

So you are the mystery whale. Do you have any proof of that? Huh

ask dev for proof

confirmed: the "whale" has surfaced.  (Needs air I suppose.)
Ok PM me your Adress BTC

Why would you do it though you?

Because when I first invested, I calculated that it'd be profitable as long as the pot remains under 75 to 100 Bitcoins. I personally believe that if the pot remains at 50 BTC, IPO holders have a chance to make 2x or more profits. If it reaches 75 BTC, we might see 1.5x profit. However, as we're now almost at 50, I want to reduce my risk by half, and hence selling 10 BTC worth of shares.

By doing so, another 10 BTC can be injected into the pool, and hence fairer distribution, without having to add more BTC value to the pot and diluting it further.

A question from a mining noob...
Come launch, what CPU is recommended for mining? Is there a favoured brand/model that gives best bang for your buck w/ CPU mining?

The voting on block rewards sounds very innovative - props to the dev's.

The way I understand it, IPO stakeholders with a majority % will have a vested interest in keeping block rewards low.
So they would be the most inclined to spend time/money farming CPU miners, purely to swing the vote in their favor.
They'd protect their IPO investment by contributing to limiting coins generated.

Whereas miners with no IPO stake would undoubtedly vote for higher block rewards to their benefit as late adopters.

Feel free to disagree  Tongue
I'm very curious to see how this turns out and so am on board just for the ride.

Will these sales update the distribution charts here?

Unfortunately not.

However, I have my reputation on the line if I am dishonest about this resale.

After receiving my IPO HVC from developers after launch, I will distribute them to buyers of my share immediately and fairly.

so you are saying he won't refund you the money?

Im just having a hard time figuring out why IPO holders wont immediately dump their position on the first exchange?

What is the incentive to hold ... is the voting throughout the entire life of the coin?

I'm allowed to resell my positions. But I understand why they do not want to change the rules of the game halfway tru the IPO, to allow and help me resell my shares. I think its fair that no refund is allowed, at least from their perspective.

IPO holders may dump their position there's no way to tell. Then people who think the value has potential to rise, will hold. But isn't that the same with all other coins?
